Game summary: A ray of light fell from the sky, and mysterious buildings suddenly rose around. The mysterious scroll appeared in Gensokyo. As the number one idler, Cirno decided to see what happened. Touhou Mystery Reel is a horizontal scrolling action game. The game has a unique combat system. Players make different decisions in the level, which will trigger different plots at the end of the level. It is up to the player to challenge a stronger BOSS or do something "dirty". There will be various side missions in the levels, and the plot trend will be slightly changed according to the completion of the missions.

Interact with the piece of paper, take care about the pop-up and press "CONFIRM" (ENTER)

After you confirmed the first World you finally started the actual game... good job!

Your only able to go right, its not possible to go back one "screen" without playing the complete level once again.
After your first steps, reach the lower level and go left.. inside the wall.



After collecting this Item, go on the first podest, there's the secone one (screenshot below)



Your ready for a tricky bit hard jump? No?

(There is no need to get there, only two Charakter to talk with, no need for any achievements)

Next to the "house" you run into a new touhou charakter! YeeHa!

The key is on the top layer of the house you just came from.... make some tricky jumps and reach the layer :D

If you go full left you will see the two Touhou charakters I wrote some lines bevor!



Ignore them for now, go right into the next "screen"!

You reached the second "screen"? Good!
Now you see another Touhou charakter?! Uhh...



IGNOR this Charakter... she want an item you dont own if you followed by guide... you did?
Good!

Go right and fight!



Go right and fight for your life until the screen ends
There will be a sign which shows weather.. i mean... whatever... ignor it and go to the next screen!

Make your way on top of the stairs!
Go on this Position!



Press "DOWN" and "JUMP" to get to the lower layer!



A Coin?! Do some SuperMario down-jumps and collect this "Genshi-Coin"!



Jump up and go a bit right, on THIS position



Do the same as bevor and collect your second Genshi-Coin!



Good!
Go through the houses or jump on top and ignor battles, your choice, feel free to do your way!


Go right into the next "screen".

Go to the upper enemy, talk to her!
Feel free to read the "tutorial" or just head into it!



Nice Mini-Rythmus-Game starts, just press "ATTACK" a bit after the "beat" kicks in.

And another Genshi-Coin shows up. Collect the Coin!

You see the nice pixelart/artwork of this TouHou Charakter? Thats good, maybe shes right next to it o.O Lets find out.



Do some "JUMP" + "DOWN" + "ATTACK" on top of one of the TouHou Charakters on the left side of the buildung, hold the keys down until you reached the top, control your charakter to land on the upper level! Like here!

(Im not almost dead... im sleeping, ok? I was doing screenshots... dont hate me)


Speak with the charakter and feel free to read the turorial..
If you feel ready, start the second RythmMiniGame! Wooo!
But wait... you need to change your "ATTACK" by collecting the item which just spawned..
But than your able to start the MiniGame, just talk to her again after collecting the item and head into it!



Lets go!



This time the charakter plays the rythm and you need to recreate it by pressing the "ATTACK" key!

Here ill show you the time when you cant to anything without watching her doing lovely stuff:

After about 6-8 seconds, you finally able to do something!
Press "ATTACK" after the "rythm-bar" gets emty!



After the epic concert another charakter-picture shows up! Yeah!

Go Right, Jump on the podests, head right...

If you provoke this thun a bit too much the run is over... trust me
Go right, ignor her for this run, please!

After the tuho charakter, jump down on the bridge!


"DOWN" + "JUMP" to reach the lower layer.


You will find a little fairy on the "right" side of this part (in a tiny hole)
Speak with her, she tells you some stuff, she only wants to get to the other side, to the exact same piece of hole... dont know qhy but this gives an achievement so we help her!



Stay on her side, like you would do if you got a good friend


Get the Achievement after this scene!


Epic... collect the blue earth looking item and go back up the bridge!



Just go right, dont jump on any other layer.... flee/fight against the enemys until you reach this position!



Jump down... and... head into the "wall"



Go left... be happy collecting the ITEM!



Go back up the way you came from... jump on the top layer of the house!
Go right, dont jump into the next building, just run into the wall like a blind animal would do...
Huh? Secret passage, good, you met another Touhou Charakter!



Talk to her like a stranger would do.. she wants your cash.. *trigger-warning* what else.. shes a bunny-girl.



She gives you a "special piece of paper" (for money... of cause.. it would be "this" kind of paper...)



Back up a bit, jump into the building above Tewi.. go right into the next screen!

Right! "JUMP"+"DOWN"+"ATTACK" the cute touhou charakter!
Be on this place!



Jump on the other Side!



Head into the WALL!



collect the item... :(

ok.ok.... go back where you "abused" the cute touhou charakter! Head RIGHT!
You run into a epic bossfight, be prepared!



Noticed the Banana? She runs into the banana, fall, take an amount of damage...



OOH BANANA!.. wake up... the fight isnt oven... attack/spam/dodge everything out of your charakter! You normaly only need one hit left to beat her! Go on!

Explosions everywhere?.. seems like you won!



Yeah! You beat her! Good job!



Achievements pop up! Two if you followed the guide correctly!

Its not impossible, if its too hard, get smashed 3 times, pray for god, do this 3 times and the boss will fight much easier this time.. a bit too easy in my opinion)

Take care: To trigger this Achievement you need to parries her attacks nine times or more.
You dont need to beat her to get the image, it took me multiple times to finally reach this achievement.

Here we go:

• Chirno, Chiruno
  
  Cirno is an ice fairy.
  
  While she is described as a weak boss
  
  in the Touhou series,
  
  if we consider the power of average fairies
  
  who appear often as regular enemies
  
  we can certainly say she is exceptionally strong
  
  for her kind.
  
  
  
  
  Its hard to figure out what charakter this would be.
  First i though its Watatsuki no Toyohime,
  but after some reseach it could be Lily White
  
  Watatsuki no Toyohime:
  Though she has a gentle personality
  and she seems to be innocent,
  she possesses immense power.
  She lives an almost carefree life reading books,
  singing songs or eating the peaches that grow on the Moon,
  but she doesn't get much exercise.
  Her responsibilities are to manage
  the rabbits that they use as emissaries,
  but it isn't very time-intensive,
  so she often joins Yorihime while
  she trains the moon rabbits.
  Reisen says she secretly gifts
  peaches from time to time to
  the rabbits and that she never
  saw her acting stern as her sister.
  
  Lily White:
  Lily is able to announce that spring has come.
  Although it's unclear what this ability entails concretely,
  Gensokyo's residents are made to feel
  the actual feeling of spring's arrival which
  makes her very popular with florists.
  It seems like she is able to provide impetus
  for flowers and other plants to bloom.
  In chapter 8 of Strange and Bright Nature Deity,
  there was a depiction of the place she passed
  by instantly becoming spring.
  
  
  
  Mai Teireida is a servant of Okina Matara,
  along with her partner Satono Nishida.
  She has little memory of her time as a human,
  but has retained her personality.
  She is a bit of a scatterbrain, but is quick to take action.
  She also holds the distinction of using boku to refer to herself.
  Still, she acts for Okina's sake alone,
  seemingly not having the free will to question otherwise.
  
  
  
  Kutaka Niwatari is a god of chickens and a guard of Hell.
  She lives in a spring atop the Youkai Mountain
  but goes to Higan for her job of overseeing the gateway to otherworlds
  such as Hell under the yama's oversight.
  
  Kutaka has called herself birdbrained.
  When she was told not to put too much trust in the animals spirits,
  she states she forgot the details when asked.
  She also tells the protagonists that, to her,
  it wouldn't really matter what would happen to them,
  as she would've forgotten all about them by that point anyway.
  She speaks in a polite, somewhat refined manner,
  and despite already being authorized to let the protagonists through,
  she takes extra care to test the protagonists' strength out of concern
  for their well-being.
  
  
  Reimu Hakurei is the main protagonist of the Touhou Project series
  along with the deuteragonist, Marisa Kirisame.
  As the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine,
  she manages the Hakurei Border of Gensokyo and exterminates troublesome youkai.
  
  
  Chen is Ran Yakumo's shikigami,
  who was guarding the village of Mayohiga
  during the events of Perfect Cherry Blossom.
  Unfortunately, she could put up little resistance
  due to being far away from her master.
  
  
  
  
  
  Nitori Kawashiro is a somewhat shy Kappa
  who lives in Genbu Ravine on Youkai Mountain.
  She has the power to control water,
  and along with the other kappa she is very good
  with engineering and technology.
  
  Nitori is a shy kappa by nature
  and if she is alone and sees a human,
  she'll run away, like in Mountain of Faith.
  She considers herself to be superior to humans
  and even other youkai and when she's by herself it's easy to see.
  However, when among her own circle of friends,
  she is quite cheerful.
  As a kappa, she is easily persuaded to leave you alone
  by a cucumber or two.
  However, she has a greedy side when it comes to running a stand and is quick to come up with plots to maximize profit.
  
  
• 
  
  Flandre Scarlet / Furandooru Sukaaretto is the younger sister of Remilia Scarlet
  and a vampire who lives at the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
  Flandre has lived for at least 495 years,
  but she has allegedly never left the grounds of the Scarlet Devil Mansion,
  and rarely leaves even the building itself, if ever.
  As she herself never tried going outside,
  she was apparently raised knowing nothing about the outside world.
  However, she's shown a slight interest to go outside
  after the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
  
  
  
  Next one is Tewi Inaba.
  Twei is the leader of the many youkai rabbits
  that live at and guard Eientei.
  She is also considered to be the leader of all the earth rabbits;
  it's said that there is not a single youkai rabbit unknown to her,
  and that all of them will only ever listen to her.
  Despite her childish appearance, she is very old.
  If she really was the White Rabbit of Inaba,
  then this would make her one of the oldest characters in the Touhou Project.
  
  Tewi is described as being more like a fairy than youkai,
  with being childish in her way of speaking and acting;
  specially with Reisen, who is the target of her pranks
  and she hides from the moon rabbit to annoy her.
  However, it's remarkable how Reisen said
  that the youkai rabbits only follow her,
  which indicates that she has a clear ability of leadership.
  
  
  Easily one of the most enigmatic characters, despite appearing in so many games, Sakuya Izayoi is the Chief Maid at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She works for her mistress, Remilia Scarlet, and is apparently the only human working and living within the mansion. She has the power to manipulate time, and is known to place knives in midair and resume time to allow these knives to fly towards her targets. Stopping time is also a handy way of doing large amounts of maid work in a short time.
  
  
  Kosuzu Motoori is the main protagonist of Forbidden Scrollery.
  She is a Human Village resident and a worker
  at the Suzunaan book renter. According to her,
  she's the No.1 collector of the demon books in Gensokyo.
  
  Kosuzu has a sweet personality, considerate and optimistic,
  polite and cheerful with her customers and her friends,
  and enjoys telling stories to village children.
  However, she is very confident in herself and her abilities,
  which frequently gets her into trouble.
  She thinks she knows better than most other people,
  distrusting Reimu and often taking matters into her own hands,
  with disastrous consequences.
  She's highly curious, and often dangerously so,
  being unafraid to read and make use of the Demon books she owns,
  even after learning that they contain the power of youkai,
  and goes to many different measures to acquire information.
  
  
  A fairy is a small, simple, humanoid creature of magic
  that represents some aspect of nature.
  Many of them are also simple-minded.
  They tend to have short lives,
  but they will regenerate immediately after dying.
  In the games themselves,
  the fairies are by far the most common general stage enemy
  in the Touhou Project.
  The way they shoot danmaku all depends
  on what difficulty the player chooses and what stage they appear in.
  They can come in different kinds of colored dresses and hair,
  and can appear bigger than usual at times,
  such as the Sunflower Fairy.
