Welcome, new cat, to the Feather Colony! You have chosen to journey all this way to join me, Birdie, and many of the other cats in this colony! I, along with the other members of my colony, will help you to become acquainted with the ways of this special group!

As I have already said, I am Birdie, leader of the Feather Colony. I used to be a member of the Forest Colony, way back that one summer when I was abandoned. My lovely mate, Lyrus, also accompanied me to this new land away from the Forest Colony, where I chose to create a new home! I will help you learn all you need to know about the other cats here, and our customs! Here, let me show you to our camp!

When I first moved away from the Forest Colony after the Guardian was saved, I decided to come to this place, where a hollow tree still stands! Here and there, you may find a white flower, a symbol of the peace between each colony. Quite a few dens are located in this camp, including yours! In a little bit, I'll bring you to them so you can become familiar with the cats of the Feather Colony!
As you can see, many of the cats contribute prey to the center tree. The camp is guarded by sharp thorn walls, as well as protected by some of our most trusted cats. The paths are well lit from fireflies, and every member of our colony enjoys sitting outside and listening to the birds!
My den is located just above the hollow tree, where I sleep with Lyrus and my four kits! You'll also find the task board and the healer's den up there.
Let me introduce you to our healer!

First off, our healer, Kestrel! They take great care in ensuring our colony has the herbs it needs to become great. You can recognize Kestrel by her orange calico coat and the various leaves sticking out of her fur! Also, and don't tell them I said this, you can recognize her by how short they are! It's kinda adorable! But don't tell them I said it! I value their work greatly, and I'm sure they'll always help a cat in need, including you! Just make sure you don't get on Kestrel's bad side!

The next cat in our colony, and one of my most trusted advisors, is Bluejay.
Oh, don't mind their tone. They're like that with all the new cats. I'm certain they'll warm up to you eventually! They helps me with planning our battles and sending out patrols. At first, I wasn't so sure of them. After all, I didn't really enjoy being called "their leige," but they have grown on me after the seasons, and have become a welcome friend to me. If there was anyone in this colony I could trust more than myself to get something done, it would be Bluejay.
After Bluejay, the next cat in our colony is Heron. They sell basic supplies for my cats, and are pretty friendly overall, yet slightly demanding. I enjoy their upbeat personality and optimism in our colony, especially during the harsher times.
