This guide is a rundown of builds and battle tactics for a Dawi in Mordhau with a simple explanation of the lore behind different aspects of the builds. The Age of Reckoning is nigh!

Dawi are strong and defiant folk. Honour is everything for them. They have a very high regard for their clan and kin. Dawi also have a strong feeling of kinsmanship between each other even if they are from two completely different holds. They will protect their kin with their lives and they will morn each dawi as their brother and sister.
They also have good memories and never forget anything done to them, neither good nor bad. All wrongs done to them and their kin are not to be forgotten and every single one is written down in their books of grudges. The greatest of all is DAMMAZ KRON, The Great Book of Grudges of the hwole dawi race.

Ye should reflect those aspects in game by always fighting honourably, protecting yer teammates (other dwarfs first and foremost) and if they fall in battle ye shall avenge them by slaying their killer.
If ye find an enemy that fights without honour ye shall slay him first and persist in doin so until ye find the grudge is satisfied.

The perks will vary dependent on the build but dwarf perk is mandatory if ye want to be a proper dawi.
Hwen it comes to the body make sure to set STRONG and FAT to maximum and SLIM to minimum setting. Hwen making the face make sure that the nose is big, eyebrows bushy and face short and wide. Long beard always on, that goes without saying.

Boki - Miners
All young dawi must do their time in mines learning about the craft and environment they live in.
Very eager but lightly armoured boki should be used as front-line support unit, try to flank armoured opponents and pierce their armour with yer pick.

Kazaki - Warriors
Hwen dawi becomes an adult he is ready to join the throng of his clan as a warrior. They are suppose to face the urki face to face and hold the frontline with their shields.

Kazakdreki - Quarrellers
Some of the dawi warriors may also train with crossbows to provide their throng with ranged support.
Ye should stay behind the shieldwall and shoot at the urks from front or the flanks. If there are any enemy bowmen focus on them.

Langtrommi - Longbeards
Longbeards are veteran warriors that fought many battles and their wisdom and beards are great.
Ye are suppose to support yer shieldwall in the front-line, focusing on taking out any threatening enemies. Ye can also swap to axe&shield and use Kazaki tactic.

Grundi - Hammerers
Grundi are one of the best warriors in any dawi hold. They are hand picked to be personal guard of the King. Ye most important task is to protect any nobles on the battlefield and heed their commands. If no nobles are present protect yer kin from any threats.

Zulunbaki - Ironbreakers
Zulunbaki are suppose to be the best of the best, taking care of most dangerous of tasks in most hostile environments, mostly deep underground. As Zulunbaki try to seek out any special threats that may harm yer throng and kin, or support them in holding the frontline.

Zulundreki - Irondrakes
Irondrakes are special support unit of the Ironbreakers that uses the cutting edge weaponry, the drakegun. Unfortunately Mordhau has no flame-throwers thus the flame bomb is all ye've got to replace it. Yer goal is the same as an Ironbreaker.

Doki - Rangers
Rangers are the silent wardens of mountain passes and forests. They are survivalist that can spend weeks or even months out in the wild patrolling the valleys, to make sure that their holds are safe. As a ranger ye will sneak pass the enemy lines, setting up traps, taking out enemy missile units and destroying their contraptions.

Endrinkuli - Master Engineer
Master Engineers are one of the keenest minds among the dawi that are capable of inventing and constructing wondrous machines. Their knowledge and expertise on the battlefield can be a game changer. As Master Engineer stay on the back lines and use yer tools to provide yer throng with support to the best of yer ability.

Drengi - Slayers
Slayers are the outcasts of the dawi society. Those hwo ashamed themselves and their kin, clan and hold. Lost their honour now they seek redemption in battle so they can enter the halls of god-ancestors without shame.
Playing as slayer ye must seek a mighty death. Find the biggest and baddest opponent and duel him until one of ye die. Repeat until ye die. Ye should also help yer kin in need if ye spot them in trouble.
