The ULTIMATE 100% BEST GUIDE to being Scientist
By ITrashman115
This will be the greatest and most knowledgeable guide on how to play the Scientist class correctly, Unlike that other guide about playing as a Class-D Personnel, which was clearly written by some 5 year old on their mother's laptop. Only IDIOTS would like to play as a Class-D and read a guide about that, instead of being the ultimate life form known as Scientist.

LIGHT CONTAINMENT ZONE
Ah, Light Containment. Your home. The place you've spent the most time in your career as a foundation researcher. You know these maze-like corridors like the back of your hand. It's also the place you are when the largest containment breach ever recorded happens. When you first spawn in, you'll either be in EXIT A/B, LCZ ARMORY, GR-18, or WC. You will be equipped with a SCIENTIST CARD, a useful tool for opening up certain containment cells like SCP-914, the clockwork machine. Finding SCP-914 should be your primary objective, but if you happen to find a ZONE MANAGER CARD, it will speed up your escape process. If you also manage to find a gun, take it so you can put down those Class-D pests and flaunt your superiority. Once you find SCP-914, put it on 1-1 if you only have a SCIENTIST CARD, or Fine if you have a ZONE MANAGER. Get into the left side of the machine quickly after activating it and place your card and any other upgradable items onto the floor. Wait for a few seconds before the door re-opens and your items upgrade. Repeat this process until your card becomes the legendary 05 CARD. the 05 CARD is the highest clearance card, and can open up everything in the facility apart from SCP-079's doors when they are locked down. If you haven't located a gun by this point, you can find LCZ ARMORY and get loaded on weapons, ammo, and other useful supplies. When you are fully kitted out and ready for battle, find one of the exit elevators and ride your way down to HEAVY CONTAINMENT.
HEAVY CONTAINMENT ZONE
Now that you've relaxed in the elevator for a few seconds, it's time to welcome you to hell on earth, HEAVY CONTAINMENT. With all your decades of researching here at the foundation, few times have they let you into this zone. All of the most bloodthirsty, savage, and hostile SCP Anomalies are kept here, such as SCP-096, SCP-106, SCP-049, and SCP-939. You will most likely run into these anomalies on your way to escape, so be prepared to shoot and run. In HCZ, there are a multitude of rooms you can find to increase your survival chances. First, there is SCP-049's chamber. In here, you can find a weapon customizing workstation, and either an items locker or an E-11 locker. Take what you can and head back down to the next important room, ALPHA WARHEAD. This is where the fabled WARHEAD lies, a last resort for the foundation to contain the dangerous SCP anomalies. If you are feeling brave and confident, enable the warhead. In the room behind you will find another workstation and the opposite of whatever you found in SCP-049's chamber. Once you are done poking around a literal nuclear warhead, head back down. By now you may have noticed the three GENERATORS located around HCZ. You must use a high clearance card to open and enable these generators. When all 3 are enabled, SCP-079's chamber will open. Inside it's room is the largest and most packed armory of them all. Also in it's room is a button to initiate an OVERCHARGE to HCZ. This overcharge will cut the power to ALL of HCZ, and contain SCP-079. This will only last for a few seconds before the facility returns to operational mode. After you have visited these significant locations, your main objective should be finding ENTRANCE ZONE.
ENTRANCE ZONE
Congratulations, doctor! You've reached the homestretch of the facility, ENTRANCE ZONE. Now, most likely by the time you've reached this zone, the MOBILE TASK FORCE unit EPSILON-11 designated NINE TAILED FOX have entered the facility. These grunts have been sent in by the foundation to contain the SCP Anomalies and rescue all other personnel, including YOU. But you are too perfect to need these pathetic military grunts assistance, you can kill an SCP anomaly with your eyes closed and hands tied. Just ignore them if they try to help you escape the facility, because most likely they will just get in your way and cause problems. Let them just be bait for the SCP Anomalies you might run into in this zone. Once you have ran around this zone long enough, eventually you will find GATE A or GATE B. Gate B is the better of the 2, but either of them works. Close the gate behind you so no Anomalies follow you out and ride up the elevator.
SURFACE ZONE
Once you reach the surface and get a taste of the fresh air, you'll have to get to the escape zone quickly, before the CHAOS INSURGENCY arrive. The INSURGENCY want to eliminate all Foundation Personnel, including YOU. They will do this by either capturing you and forcing you to become one of them, or just straight up killing you. If they try to capture you, then just kill yourself, because being anything other than a perfect being Scientist is a fate worse than death. If they kill you then just go cry in a corner because you got so close to escaping but got stopped by a 1 shotting ultra powerful 200 damage double shot shotgun. Luckily, the chances of the INSURGENCY arriving are low, so it should be clear. Just run to the escape zone and waltz straight out of this hellhole.
POST-ESCAPE
After you escape the facility, you will return as a NINE TAILED FOX SPECIALIST. An NTF Specialist is a special version of the NTF SERGEANT. Get rid of the useless sergeant card it gives you, because you have a 05 from SCP-914 still. Sort out your remaining items, then you are ready. after getting your bearings, just enter the facility and join your meathead grunt comrades, but always remember that you are a scientist at heart, just going along with these stupid idiots because you have to.
