I actually make this guide only for myself, because I always forget where the different places etc. are. But you can use it if you are as forgetful as I am. I will add absolutely every place, every secret, every purchasable object and every findable item. Everything neatly noted on different maps.

The deeper you dig, the more valuable the resource you get.

I think that in addition to the depth - depending on the value of the digsite, there is a slight multiplier on the resource value (or size) you get from a chunk of earth. It's just a theory so far. But it would make sense, otherwise it wouldn't make any difference whether you start digging in Snowrune Falls (c7000, 21 depth) or in Dreck Quarry (c1200, 22 depth). As I said, it's just a theory so far (at least for me). If anyone knows better, share your wisdom with us! Correct me if I'm wrong. Just tested this in the game.

For anyone wondering, nukes don't destroy the relics (I might've vaporized all of ember cradle with nukes because I wasn't doing anything else with my money)

your Guide is not bad but so far from "Ultimate" there is some basic and some oddly specific knowledge you share, but but most of the Basic and advanced infos about the map are totally missing

How do you get relics? Can you destroy them if you're digging with a pickaxe or the hydro digger?

You just use the line tool and instead of the “solid” line you use the dashed line. I don't think that works with MS Paint. I made the pictures back then with “paint .net” (that's not a website, but a program called that).

Sword relic in ember cradle is about 4-5 digs down with t1 pickaxe
