Beskrivelse
Make so zombies wont stunlock you when grabbed by them. You will still receive damage normally, this will just make the reaction animation play so fast that your character won't react to it. When damaged you'll notice a small stutter, but that won't interrupt your actions, like running, walking, aiming [...].

I recommend disabling Drag Down as well in the sandbox options

If I were to want to make it so the stunlock was half of vanilla, what file/s and string of code need modifying? Thanks!

Until a more accurate reaction to attacks exists (i.e. having faster animations according to strenght) this mod or 'faster hit reactions' are a must to play any higher difficulties with sprinters.

@Goose play with sprinters at least once and feel the pain

@Broisen

You were probably looking for this:

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2832464569

But it stopped working after patch .73 cause the devs changed how bullets react with your character, making you trip and fall.

I mean, it works, but you will be teleported to a fall or a trip animation.

Aside from that, im pretty sure that there is a option now in the sandbox settings to tweak your character reaction to being shot, from what i heard it is not perfect but it is what we currrently have.

Hello, my friends and I really liked this mod, although we were looking for a completely different one, I would like exactly the same mod only with accelerated animations when bullets hit. For example: Bob_HitReact2H_01 ; Bob_HitReact_01 ; Bob_HitReact01_Walking. Sometimes you want to have a fight with your friends. However, it is annoying when a character falls into a stun. Could you add new animations to the list of changed animations? We will be grateful and reward you with Steam points for this mod. >3 (P.S. Perhaps you know such mods, could you then leave a link to them as a response to this message).:bleach:

Okay. Thanks for the quick response. I'll look to see if its something I can tweak myself in the folder. And on wanting to recreate build 40 -- that makes sense.
David Hogins  [ophavsmand] 28. apr. kl. 15:56
@Raeyunred The intention really was to bring back the build 40 experience, though i couldnt make the little stun disappear...

for the values, i dont think it is possible to make them configurable in the menu, since they're not lua files, if i remember correctly they are xml, could be wrong (and im no programer).

You can tweak them on your own though

This is great and absolutely critical for sprinter games. The 'animation lockdown' that turns the blocking animation into a death sentence is foolish, bad game design.

That said, I would suggest to the author to make the percentage reduction configurable in the game settings.

90% is too much and makes the game feel a little too close to build 40 with mostly complete immunity to physical contact. I would like to set it to 75% so that mistakes are still potentially dangerous, but 75 would be enough to eliminate the Animation Stunlock Cheese that is probably motivating most of the people using this mod. I just wanted to do away with the stupid wombo-combo you get sometimes from two unevenly spaced zombies executing their animations on you repeatedly with no control from the player.
