Battle for Farside Station

Descrição
Choose a side as the battle for the fate of Farside Station rages on between the IMDC and Void Corp. Use Requisition to spawn ships from the popular collections and use a combination of skill, creativity and ingenuity to achieve victory!

REQUISITION

Requisition represents the resources available to either side. They accrue slowly over time and can be used to spawn ships of various kinds. The larger the ship, the more Requisition it will cost. Spend Requisition strategically to outlast your opponents in a war of attrition.

FARSIDE STATION

Farside Station lies between the two faction bases, containing a vastly detailed interior where several antennas can be found. Hack these antennas for your side in order to begin your team's uplink. Should you lose control of these antennas, your uplink will be disrupted, and you will have to start over. Once an uplink is complete, the conflict will escalate.

ESCALATION

After a team completes their uplink, the opposing team's safe zone will be deactivated. This opens them up to direct assault. Each base has an active beacon. Destroy it order to win the game.

MINING FOR REQUISITION

There is a series of gold asteroids marked on each player's GPS. This gold can be mined and processed at your base in exchange for a lucrative sum of Requisition, with the potential to shift the balance of power. Mining gold is risky, as your enemy will try to stop you if they see you, but promises great rewards.

You have literally created the core concept for an in game system that i've been hoping someone would do for a long time. i am so glad i stumbled across this. did you and maximus ever get this to work with multiple players? either way, i'd be interested in hearing how you put this together. i literally have (or had i'd have to check) ships and classes dedicated to this style of a "conquest" game mode but i never had the programming legs to get it to work. gonna try it out now. i literally got so excited reading the description i did this before i even subscribed to the build lol

I could, yes. You would have to learn how to use the Visual Scripting Tool, however if this takes off in the way I hope I may be willing to do requests. All I would need are the blueprints, and I could probably do it in a an hour or less.

Please do! I've tested it extensively, but not with more than three people. If your server's public, send me the details. There's nothing that would please me more than to play this out with full teams.

Nice work, I will definitely be testing this for use as an event on my server!
