***Support for legacy versions is included, but untested. The xml between versions of VWE - Laser didn't appear to have any differences, but if any problems arise I'll look into them.***

***Yes, CE support is included. Like vanilla it has only been tested for 1.3***


This mod borrows some code from Star Wars - Fully Functional Lightsabers and applies them, with some adjustments, to the Laser Sword from Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Laser. If you thought Lightsabers was too feature bloated you should like this.

Adds:
Several new defs (damage, maneuvers, etc) to make the Laser Sword more then a glorified Longsword

Double damage to buildings (Through the new DamageDef)

chanceFactor=0.1 to the handle, because you use the pointy end (Vanilla only, CE all ready does this)


Optional Dependency - Royalty (1.2 - 1.5 only)

Adds a Persona version of the Upgraded Laser Sword with increased damaged and reduced cooldown. (Additional stats are increased with CE in line with Royalty Persona weapons)


Future plans:
Add patches for Persona Forge and Persona Weapons for the Vanilla Expanded
Add Jecstools as an optional dependency for projectile deflection
Laser Sword sounds(maybe)
Make my own Laser Sword Mod, with hookers and blackjack... Aww screw it, I'll just patch VWE

@Sopel Thanks for the bug report, been a while since I've used this mod so didn't realize there were errors. It was also still using CompOversizedWeapon which the VE team replaced a while ago and I didn't realize, the floor graphic should be working properly now though.

Config error in UP_VWEL_LaserSword_Bladelink: is smeltable but does not give anything for smelting.

^you dont need projectile deflection code, just recommend "supreme melee" with this. a well augmented soldier can deflect bullets with a frying pan too, then^^
