The guide is organized in two parts, one in Italian and another in English. As I said in the description of the guide, unfortunately these small fixes are not a way to save the game in some way, but they can try to make it slightly more enjoyable.

I remind you to:

• Update your video card drivers.
  
• Keep Windows up to date.

In this guide you can easily switch from one section to another, I will try to be as "boomer friendly" as possible.

La guida è organizzata in due parti, una in italiano ed un'altra in inglese. Come dicevo nella descrizione della guida, purtroppo questi piccoli fix non sono un modo per salvare il gioco in qualche modo, ma possono cercare di renderlo leggermente più godibile.

Giusto per andare sul sicuro vi ricordo di:

• Aggiornare i driver della vostra scheda video.
  
• Mantenere Windows aggiornato.

In questa guida potrete passare da una sezione ad un'altra, a seconda di quello che vi serve. Cercherò di essere il più "boomer friendly" possibile.

The developers (among the many shortcomings) have not given a way to easily change only the language of the commentary. This procedure will only work with the game audio and not the interface.
The available comments are these (where there are the checks on the Full Audio section):

1. Make a backup of the folder named "cpk", located in the main game folder. Which you can find in this way:
   Steam Library> eFootball 2022> Properties> Local Files> " Browse local files "
   or
   C:/ Program Files / Steam / steamapps / common / eFootball 2022
   
2. After the backup, go back to steam and in the game properties go to the "Language" section and select the language you would like to change. Steam will start a download, wait for it to finish.
   
3. Go back to the game folder again, enter folder cpk and copy the following files:
   
   dt261_[lang]_console_win.cpk dt510_[lang]_console_all.cpk dt530_[lang]_console_all.cpk
   * instead of "lang" word there will be the initials of the language you have chosen.
   
   
4. Copy these 3 files to another folder.
   
5. Delete the cpk folder (the one present in the game's main folder) and replace it with the cpk folder of the backup (the one in the first point).
   
6. Copy the files previously saved in step 3 (dt261, dt510, dt530) into the cpk folder you just re-pasted.
   
7. Now run the game, go on Game Settings>Language and now you can change the Commentary Language.

Gli sviluppatori (tra le tante mancanze) non hanno dato un modo per poter modificare facilmente soltanto la lingua della telecronaca. Questa procedura varrà soltanto con l'audio del gioco e non i testi.
Le telecronache disponibili sono queste (dove vedete il check sulla sezione Voci):

1. Effettuate un backup della cartella chiamata "cpk", situata nella cartella principale del gioco. Che potrete trovare in questo modo:
   Libreria Steam>eFootball 2022>Proprietà>File Locali>"Sfoglia file locali"
   oppure
   C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/eFootball 2022
   
2. Dopo il backup ritornate su steam e sempre nelle proprietà del gioco andate nella sezione "Lingua" e selezionate la lingua che vorreste cambiare. Steam avvierà un download, aspettate finisca.
   
3. Ritornate nuovamente nella cartella del gioco, entrate nella cartella cpk e copiate i seguenti file:
   
   dt261_[lang]_console_win.cpk dt510_[lang]_console_all.cpk dt530_[lang]_console_all.cpk
   * invece di "lang" ci saranno le iniziali della lingua che avete scelto.
   
   
4. Copiate questi 3 file in un'altra cartella.
   
5. Eliminate la cartella cpk (quella presente nella cartella principale del gioco) e sostituitela con la cartella cpk del backup (quella del primo punto).
   
6. Copiate i file precedentemente salvati nel punto 3 (dt261,dt510,dt530) nella cartella cpk appena re-incollata.
   
7. Avviate il gioco, Impostazioni>Lingua e ora sarà presente la nuova lingua della telecronaca, vi basterà selezionarla.

Unfortunately the game's resolution is limited to 720p (my god), so you'll need to install a small fix to try and fix it to a higher definition.

1. Download WR Changer File[drive.google.com]*

2. Copy the .exe file in the game folder. Which you can find in this way:
Steam Library> eFootball 2022> Properties> Local Files> " Browse local files "
or
C:/ Program Files / Steam / steamapps / common / eFootball 2022
3. Open eFootball2022_WR_Changer.exe
4. Change resolution and click on "Apply"
5. Done.

* Probabily eFootball2022_WR_Changer.exe will detect as a virus, it's not[www.virustotal.com].

There is another way to fix resolution (I can't insure it will work):
1. Go into the game folder.
2. Enter in Binaries>Win64 folder
3. Select eFootball.exe>Properties>Compatibility
4. "Change high DPI settings" and check the "Use this settings to fix scaling problems for this program instead of the one in Settings" option
5. Done.

Purtroppo la risoluzione del gioco è limitata a 720p (mio dio), quindi dovrete installare un piccolo fix per cercare di sistemarla ad una definizione più alta.

1. Scaricate WR Changer File[drive.google.com]*

C'è anche un altro modo per risolvere questo problema, ma non posso assicurare che possa funzionare.
1. Andate nella cartella principale del gioco.
2. Entrate nella cartella Binaries>Win64
3. Con il tasto destro, eFootball.exe>Propietà>Compatibilità
4. Selezionate "Modifica Impostazioni DPI Elevati" fate check su "Usa questa impostazione per correggere i problemi di ridimensionamento di questo programma anzichè quella in Impostazioni".
5. Fatto

Unfortunately in the game there are not all the rights for all the teams, but there is a mod that will allow us to solve this problem.

1. Download Full Team file[drive.google.com]
   
2. Go on game folder. Which you can find in this way:
   Steam Library> eFootball 2022> Properties> Local Files> " Browse local files "
   or
   C:/ Program Files / Steam / steamapps / common / eFootball 2022
   
3. Go on cpk folder
   
4. Backup this file:
   
   dt250_console_all.cpk
5. Paste and replace the new downloaded dt250 file in the cpk folder.
   
6. Done.

Purtroppo nel gioco non ci sono tutti i diritti per tutte le squadre, ma è presente una mod che ci permetterà di risolvere a questo problema.

1. Scaricare la mod[drive.google.com].
   
2. Accedete alla cartella principale del gioco. Che potrete trovare in questo modo:

3. Eseguite un backup del seguente file:

4. Incollate e sostituite il file appena scaricato con quello presente nella cartella cpk
   
5. Fatto.

Unfortunately in this game the graphics are a bit grainy and not exactly the best. So, as is done for games from the early 2000s, it is advisable to install Reshade.

1. Download Reshade Setup[reshade.me]
   
2. Open and select "Click here to select game" and click on "Browse" button.
   
3. Go on game folder. Which you can find in this way:
   Steam Library> eFootball 2022> Properties> Local Files> " Browse local files "
   or
   C:/ Program Files / Steam / steamapps / common / eFootball 2022
   
4. Enter in Binaries>Win64 folder and open eFootball.exe
   
5. Select Direct3D 10/11/12 and click on Install
   
6. When the effect packages page will show up click on Uncheck All and click on OK
   
7. Download Reshade Next Gen File[drive.google.com]
   
8. Copy all the files in the Binaries>Win64 folder (where is the eFootball.exe).
   
9. When you will open the game you can press "Shift + F2" to open Reshade menu.
   
10. With cursor click on "Reshade Preset" and select "PES Next Gen v1.ini" and wait.
    
11. Done.

Purtroppo in questo gioco la grafica è un po sgranata e non è proprio il massimo. Quindi, cosi come si fa per i giochi dei primi anni 2000, è opportuno installare Reshade.

2. Apri e seleziona "Click here to select game" e fai click sul pulsante "Browse".
   
3. Accedete alla cartella principale del gioco. Che potrete trovare in questo modo:

   oppure
   C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/eFootball 2022
   
4. Entra nella cartella Binaries>Win64 e apri eFootball.exe
   
5. Selezionare Direct3D 10/11/12 e fare clic su Install
   
6. Quando viene visualizzata la pagina dei pacchetti di effetti, fai clic su Deseleziona tutto e fai clic su OK
   
7. Scarica Reshade Next Gen File[drive.google.com]
   
8. Copia tutti i file nella cartella Binaries>Win64 (dove si trova eFootball.exe).
   
9. Quando aprirai il gioco premi "Shift + F2" per aprire il menu Reshade.
   
10. Con il cursore fare clic su "Reshade Preset" e selezionare "PES Next Gen v1.ini" e attendere.
    
11. Fatto.
