Better magic collection 5.0

解説
This is a collection of all my "Better Magic" mods.
Im currently re-balancing and updating all mods since 5.0 based on feedback.

Note
  • All Buffs and Debuffs are AOE when overcast. Normal Cast is single Target. (Some Exeptions)
  • Duration and Effect will be the same for Normal and Overcast.
  • All weaker Damage spells are slightly stronger.
  • All Buff and Debuff type spells last a lot longer and are stronger.
  • Cost and cooldown has been reduced for almost all spells.

  • All Dragons can use all rebalanced magic in Dragon form.
  • Amber spear from Beast Magic is now fun to use..... Cause it explodes.

This is a collection of my "Better magic" series.
Make sure too have only this enabled.
It might conflict with any other magic mod from others, or my own. But crashes are most likely not because of this mod conflicting, if anything it just doesn't work fully

No. I checked the files. bonus vs large in over cast and small cast.

Is djaf's incantation of cursed blades supposed to loose it's infantry bonus when overcast?

Maybe. But this mod shouldn't crash your game. You could try to use the disable all mods button after clicking play and try gain. Sometimes unsubbed mods are active in the background that are not even in the list causing problems.

It;s weird my game crashes when I enable this mod. But this mod is a movie pack so I don't have to enable it, is that correct?

I like what you've done here, thank you for sharing. Could you tell me of an easy way to shorten the cast times for all spells? There was a mod called, "I fixed magic" made for TW2 which did this and I would love to have that option again.

It would work like that. Removing all the ticks would remove all the spells from transformations.
SO be sure to keep the spells checked they can normally use.
But no, it can't break anything.
You also could just not use the spells, because you have to do it again every time I update the mod..:sparklepro:

Ah nvm, didn't know that that was an intended feature! Sorry about that. I edited it for myself to revert that change and it *seems* to have worked?
For anyone else all you need to do was revert the column "be coppied to transformation" checkmarks in the unit_special_abilities_table of each spell for yin/yang/heavens/life/metal(/deep if you have yin yin) to their base game states. Though I also only half know what I am doing when it comes to modding soooo I can't 100% confirm this wont break something else!

Hi so I think there's a bug with Miao Ying (potentially the other dragon children as well) where this mod causes them to still be able to cast ALL their spells in dragon form, not just the single one they are supposed to be able to cast (i.e Talons of Night for Miao)
