My take on the CR90 Corvette from Star Wars

The goal of this design was to translate the CR90s from Star Wars within the realm and limitations of vanilla Space Engineers.

General Space Engineers Fleet role: Lightly armed and agile, this is generally one of the first big ships I build in a survival scenario. Pretty expensive early game with all those ion engines but it flies well with just it's Hydrogen. Can defend It's self easily against drones but if your playing with some especially aggressive NPC mods you probably want to use that agility and avoid combat. Great jump distance as well if you're looking to do some exploring or scouting.

*Be sure to check assembler cooperation mode after building. I generally don't do these things before-hand since the top assembler tends to change each time it is built. Other-wise everything should be good.

My own take on it and premise behind the design, if you care...
Originally a luxury yacht built for the rich and powerful, the CR90 has seen wide spread use across the galaxy. It's speed, luxury quarters, medical facilities, and ability to quickly cross the vast spaces of the galaxy made it common site. As it's popularity grew, the ship soon began to see uses in other roles such as shipping, public transportation, and even smuggling. Eventually, the military saw promise in it's design and the CR90 was refitted for their purposes. It managed to retain much of its luxury features and facilities in the refit making it a popular posting for crew and captains alike. The CR90 is lightly armed compared to it's contemporaries and that fact along with it's small size and great speed has put it squarely in the scout and light patrol role typically away from the front-lines. This has only added to its popularity as a posting with the enlisted. Never-the-less, these ships do occasionally see combat as a fighter screen for larger vessels. In recent years the CR90's role has began to be phased out in favor of it's more heavily armed cousin, the Consular class corvette.
