Please excuse: This was a copypaste at 2 am in the morning from my Discord server version. Putting it in here hastefully, just to insure everyone has a chance to use this information. Will tidy up and clean it up later on.

List of NPC Questlines In Order (Don't complete NPCs quest completely, go Zone to Zone)

Game Info: NPCs have usually between 5-12 steps, they also move organically from Zone-to-Zone, so if you clear one map at a time you'll 100% even without this guide if you look thoroughly, and usually exhaust a bunch of dialog or pass time at graces; some steps have rewards, some don't. Some steps can be skipped, losing minor or major (like unique equips) rewards. Some steps can completely close you off of some secret places (Such as Albus' Questline start is required to get to Consecrated, and Ranni's Questline to get to Moonlight Altar (on top of Liurnia lakes, directly above Albinauric Village), are some prime examples of some major things that can be missed entirely because of these NPC questlines.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Wiki-links, I am merely putting it in for you to use as a troubleshoot incase you have already moved through skipping steps or potentially broke Questlines. This guide can be used without using the links, if you wish not to spoil things for yourself. Just follow the directional maps (if any), and you can easily identify said NPCs via the Images (Sometimes the images also show for example- their hidden versions as some NPCs hide such as Boc's Situation and Albus' Situation).

I intentionally left out specifics of some NPC's questlines, because they already tell you where to find them next if it is repeated in the same region (Via their dialogs, unlike most rpgs, this game does not hold your hand, you actually have to remember what people say). If you skipped it accidentally (The hints, or if they told you exactly where they are going) the wiki-links will help you troubleshoot that if you get lost.

Note: When you get to 5 Deathroots (or was it 3? Someone confirm), he will begin to attack you. Let him kill you 5 or so times. Afterwards, beat him up to about 25% hp left, and then he will try and back off, do not kill him. Talk to him, and he will reset. He may disappear due to some kind of bug, just pass time, come back etc. till he comes back, and continue till you're done with 9 deathroots (Available is 6 until you open up Mountain Top and Consecrated).
