yeah its a great game to get into. Find a squadron that plays around the time you do and fly with them its deff better as a multiplayer game. on top of that there is a LOT to learn in the game. Find something you enjoy doing in the game and focus on that. combat,mining,trading, running missions, xeno hunting, there are rescue missions that pop up occasionally when a station is badly damaged, and the players have to help rebuild the station.
also squadrons control systems so you can help push your squadrons influence into systems so you can start a fight for control of the system.
also with Odysseys release you can also walk around on planets so you can search the stars for signs of life
or discover planets and be the first human to set foot on them
i have discovered, mapped and set foot on a few planets myself

this game worth getting into? I thought the flight mechanics were amazing, didn't get past 30 min
