Proper Hotel
Housed inside a landmark flatiron building at the intersection of three bustling San Francisco streets, the hotel is a picture of nostalgia-toned Beaux Arts architecture complete with a rooftop terrace and sweeping views of the cityscape. Completed in 1904 by local architect Albert Pissis it is now included on the National Register of Historic Places.

Recently restored with painstaking attention to original details the hotel interior has been created by designer Kelly Wearstler. The building’s lavish Beaux Arts bones informed Wearstler’s subsequent reimagining of the interiors. Taking a cue from early pre-modernist European styles, the design brings together the Old World with the new in the form of rich textures and deep hues — a wildly colourful feast for the senses.

This asset was commissioned by nicocn383 for his fictional city of Strathcona based on a mix of Seattle, WA and Vancouver, B.C. Essentially a rainy and green North American city on the Pacific coast.

A big "thank you" to nicocn383 for providing the excellent screenshots.

Sir, your buildings are incredible! I feel bad for my poor computer because I added basically all of your more brick looking buildings and it's going to hate me later but my downtown is starting to look amazing. Keep up the great work!

Who cares what an asshole thinks? The world would be a better place if they were ignored. Your buildings are awesome.

Thank You for making my life better, I'm new to cities and love your work especially the UK stuff. Although I know you and all the other creators put a lot of work into these assets, (I tried making a 4 lane path that would allow both two way bicycles and 2 way pedestrians and was like Nope, just play with what you can find on the workshop, leave the creating to the experts) I probably don't realise exactly how much time. I also hadn't spotted I could give thumbs up's, THANKS! I now have to loose gaming time to go thumb's up all you assets lol. I don't see the point in a thumbs down, if you don't like something either ask the creator to change/improve/fix it, i'm sure most can take constructive criticism or just move along and find what you do want. I for one am just grateful that someone takes their valuable time to improve my gaming experience and make this world we live in a better place. Thank You for your work, Thank You Biffa for sending me to your workshop

There are trolls everywhere bloke, every single of my assets have 1 dislike for no reason, especially my assets where I spent a great amount of time doing them. Quite daft, but anyway.
