Space, it says, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is


Laniakea is a name that has been given to a supercluster in which the milky way lies. I thought it was fitting for this pattern that has been inspired by space exploration and futuristic maps of yet to be explored in the supercluster that we live in. This pattern of a futuristic map comes in 4 different colours and has been almost completely been made in Substance Designer. I wanted to chaallenge myself to make as many shapes and aspects of this pattern in that software to see if I was capable of it. I must say it was quite a fun process and I'm happy with the end result. You can find the Substance Designer graph in the image carrousel above to give you a little insight in my work process :)
