Introduction

Don't lose skills, traits, perks level/exp/boost when you die. Enjoy the hardcore gameplay experience, without losing any skill progress.



Usage

By default, all skill data is saved when you die and will be restored back. However, when you create a new character, you must explicitly join the game by clicking in the button "[Skills4Ever] restore my perks" in the character creation menu (see image above). If you don't do that, all your progress will be lost and a new character build will follow.


Compatibility

* So far I have found no issue with mods that create professions and skills. If you got any, please let me know it.
* If you're using "more traits" or any other related mod, make sure to load Skills4Ever first

The mod will keep your skills, but it will not do any effort to preserve your trait/profession selection. It appears to keep the same amount of traits you chose, but doesn't give a rats ass which ones you picked. Same goes for the profession.

well its might work but you must paste that mods here:
C:\Users\"Your user name"\Zomboid\Workshop\ModTemplate\Contents\mods

i try and this work... but... i think after that you must cancel subscription

it's not working anymore, I think, whenever I use it in remoteplay the wrong character gets the traits and skills

Didn't give me the exact same traits. Started with Very Underweight and had Out of Shape instead on respawn.
