Descripción
This is the version of the Cyclone Gatling Turret designed to be printed in survival, using the ISL Small ship printer, although only 2 of the welders are necessary, or you could build it by hand from the blueprint.

Find the already assembled version here.

Once all blocks have been constructed, grind away the 3x3 hinge head, then press the button while in gravity (and with the turret in the correct orientation) and the turret head will drop to the base and attach. If it does not connect, then it may need a nudge to get into position.

Once connected, grind off the temporary blocks.

All blocks in red are temporary, and should be ground away once the sub grids are connected.

To move the completed turret to its vehicle/ship, I recommend using a vehicle like the Nurina RO-34 Forklift, or a tug ship like one of the Glis series.

The hinge attaches using a timer that triggers itself (to loop) and runs the “attach” command for the 3 x3 hinge. Therefore it needs to be attached to a power source to work.

Summary of the steps

1. Print/weld up the blueprint
2. grind away the 3x3 hinge head
3. press the red button to detach turret head.
4. Watch it drop into place & attach (in gravity) or use a ship to move it into place if in 0g
5. grind away the red blocks
6. your turret is ready!

Hi JFKeNn3dy,

it could be one of two things:

1. was it the red button by the merge blocks?
I forgot to remove an extra button (attached to the back of the hinge) but I removed it now.

2. is it attached to something with power? This BP has no power source, since it is designed to be projected from a base in survival.

Pushing the button does not do anything.
