Preface
This guide will give a full explanation on how to obtain each and every achievement in Heavy Bullets, as well as ranking their difficulty and detailing what items you may need to complete them. If you're struggling to figure out how to get a certain achievement, then hopefully this guide will help!

Keep in mind that this guide contains a lot of spoilers for Heavy Bullets and later sections should be avoided if you don't want to be spoiled.
THANKS FOR PLAYING

THANKS FOR PLAYING - DIE (Very Easy)
Items Required:
N/A
Explanation:
The quickest and easiest way to get this achievement when starting out is to blow yourself up with bombs. Explosions deal a full heart of damage, and you start out with three hearts and three bombs. Tap your 'throw bomb' key, then immediately shoot it on the ground to detonate it early. Doing this three times will kill you, ending your run and earning the achievement. Optionally, run to the first enemy you find and let them kill you.
THAT WASN'T SO HARD

THAT WASN'T SO HARD - REACH LEVEL 2 (Very Easy)
Items Required:

N/A
Explanation:
All you need to do for this achievement is reach the exit of the first level. You'll mostly encounter Imps, Snakeworms and Turrets here.

Imps will freeze when you enter their sightline before charging toward you. If you break their sightline, they will run to where they last saw you and repeat this process upon seeing you again. Shoot them with your gun to take them out in a single hit.

Snakeworms will stay hidden in bushes and trying to blend in. If you see a tubelike protrusion from a cluster of bushes or hear their warning sound as you get too close, shoot the bush to take out the snakeworm.

Turrets will aim toward you before firing a projectile in a straight line to where you're standing. In order to shut them down, shoot the bright green power box next to them or throw a bomb at them.
HEY I HAVE A FLASHLIGHT

HEY I HAVE A FLASHLIGHT - REACH LEVEL 5 (Medium)
Items Required:

Lv. 2 Carry (Optional)
Homing Bomb x 5 (Optional)

Explanation:
The fifth level of Heavy Bullets is locked behind the first boss of the game, named Turret Boss. Turret Boss can be a bit of a roadblock for newer players, as it slows you, fires two lasers at once, has a built in rocket launcher, and takes four precise hits to kill - all while its trying to keep its weak points safe. A very easy way to take down turret boss, however, is by using Homing Bombs. Each Homing Bomb will remove one power box from the boss, and will never miss. Upgrading your Carry ability once by purchasing Carry+ will allow you to hold 5 homing bombs, which are enough to take out the Slow Turret as well as the boss.

As soon as you open the door to the boss, throw a homing bomb. It will veer to either the left or right depending on where the Slow Turret is positioned. Move clockwise or anti-clockwise based on where the Slow Turret is located and throw out your four remaining bombs. The Turret Boss should go down easily with little to no damage taken on your end, and you'll be able to reach Level 5.
ALMOST THERE

ALMOST THERE - REACH LEVEL 8 (Medium)
Items Required:

N/A
Explanation:
Levels 5-8 will put you up against every enemy the game has to offer. While it can seem daunting at first, maintaining a slow and cautious pace and luring enemies to you first is key to survival.

Around level 7 or so, there'll be a 'miniboss' rocket turret that cannot be shot normally. It is much larger than other turrets and has a distinct chargeup sound before it fires a rocket toward you. The only way to defeat it is by activating its generator, which will be connected to it nearby. Take out whatever enemies are lurking around the generator first, then rush toward it and activate it.

While unreliable, it is possible to shoot the rocket out of the air before it hits you. This is very difficult to do however, and should only be attempted if you find yourself caught out with nowhere to dodge.
WINNER!

WINNER! - BEAT THE GAME (Medium)
Items Required:
Additional Bullets (12)
Lv. 3 Bullet Magnet (Optional)/Bullet Magnet (Item) (Optional)
Backpack (Optional)
Scope (Optional)
Running Shoes (Optional)
Red Potion (Optional)
Gold Potion (Optional)

Explanation:
WINNER! tasks you with defeating the final boss, the Mother Brain. The boss itself is fairly simple to defeat. There are three generators on the left, right and back of the boss room which need to be activated in order to kill the boss. The boss itself will continually throw bombs toward you, increasing in frequency the more generators you've activated. The room itself will contain numerous Imps, Turrets and Egg Clusters. As soon as you open the door, many of the Imps will charge straight toward you. Stay where you are and do not enter the boss room yet. Let the Imps run close enough to you that you'll be able to pick up your bullets again after shooting them. Peek around the corners to the left and right of the doorway to take out any turrets that may be there, then try to take out any turrets near the back of the room too. Then, destroy any Egg Clusters you see until you have 6 bullets left in your chamber (or as many or as few as you'd feel comfortable with). After that, rush into the room and hide behind the pillar that should appear on the left or right of the room. The boss will start throwing bombs at you, but these will bounce off the pillar and explode harmlessly away from you. Take out any remaining Imps and Turrets in the room that you can see, before rushing toward each generator and activating it. Activating a generator will stun the boss momentarily too, so if done in quick enough succession, you should never be at risk of being bombed.

If you're carrying the Bullet Magnet, you can safely shoot further away enemies and recover your bullets easier, as your magnetisation range is much higher.

The Scope can help you more easily locate and snipe far-off or partially hidden Imps and Turrets.

Running Shoes' increase to movement speed can help you more easily reach the three generators quickly, putting you at less of a risk from the boss.

Red and Gold potions can be held onto in case you take damage. All enemies will be killed along with the boss, so holding onto a red or gold potion and rushing down the generators - consuming them when your health gets low - can let you tank through any remaining Imps or Turrets that are attacking you.
SELF MADE WINNER

SELF MADE WINNER - BEAT THE GAME, MAKE NO WITHDRAWS (Medium)
Items Required:

N/A
Explanation:
In order to obtain self made winner, you have to beat the game without making a single withdrawal from the bank. This means you cannot withdraw any money or items you've saved over the runs.

The biggest difficulties you'll likely face are RNG and prices. Since RNG is, well, RNG, I can only talk about prices:
Each floor, everything gets more expensive. The best way to counteract this is by buying the Discount perk at the first bank you can afford it at. This will lower the prices of all shops by up to 50% at max level for the rest of the run, making later purchases much easier. Next, you'll want to prioritise your purchases and sell whatever you don't need. The Backpack is incredibly useful as it grants you a second slot to store an item in, and if you get it early on, you can use it to store valuable items like ore chunks to be sold at the next bank you find. Increasing maximum health, bullet magnetism and reload are all helpful combat perks to have for most situations.

Self made winner can be obtained alongside WINNER! if you beat a run for the first time without making any withdraws.

SPEEDRUNNER

SPEEDRUNNER - BEAT THE GAME IN UNDER 25 MINS (Hard)
Items Required:

Running Shoes
Backpack
Lv. 2 Carry
Homing Bomb x 5
Lv. 3 Discount (Optional)
Lv. 3 Life Insurance (Optional)
Explanation:
Speedrunner challenges you to beat Heavy Bullets in under 25 minutes, which is a difficult challenge considering how much of an advantage a slow, careful playstyle grants you. First of all, you'll want to have won the game at least once or twice so you have around 5000-10000 money in your bank. The first bank you come across, withdraw about 2000-3000 money and immediately max out your Discount and Life Insurance (as a safety net if you fail). Next, buy the first pair of running shoes you find - which are sold in Bullets & Stuff vending machines - a backpack and some extra bullets if you need them. From then on, rush through each room taking out any enemies that try to stop you. Ignore any money that drops and focus entirely on moving from room to room. Along the way, buy any upgrades available at shops before continuing onward. Once you've upgraded your Carry ability at least once, buy 5 homing bombs.

Each floor should only take you about 3 minutes to clear maximum, with the fourth floor around the 10 minute mark. Use the 5 homing bombs to speed past the turret boss and keep track of your time on the later floors using the pause menu. Once you reach the final boss on Floor 8, take out the Imps and Turrets that you can see as fast as you can before rushing down the generators.
WHAT THE X

WHAT THE X - OPEN A SECRET DOOR (Easy-Medium)
Items Required:
N/A
Explanation:
In order to get what the x, all you need to do is open a hidden wall. These are usually marked with a small black X, and will be slightly discoloured compared to the walls around it. If you're unsure where to find one, run alongside long flat walls and wait for an interact prompt to appear. Some hidden walls will seem out of place with the environment around them, looking like an odd depression in the wall, while others will be hidden behind tall grass. Not all hidden walls will be marked with an X, but they all give the interact prompt when looked at.
STAY AND LISTEN

STAY AND LISTEN - FIND BOOMBOX (Easy-Medium)
Items Required:

Hacked Sensor (Optional)
Explanation:
Stay and Listen is granted upon finding the Boombox. It can only appear in hidden walls. Picking it up will cause it to play music and give you the achievement. Gameplay wise, I don't believe it does anything. Find as many secret walls as you can, and hopefully you'll find one!

If you're having trouble finding hidden walls, the Hacked Sensor will beep whenever you're near them, beeping faster the closer you are. While this can also only be found in a hidden wall, it can make finding others much easier. I highly recommend keeping one in your bank's item storage after you find one.
CUT IT OUT

CUT IT OUT - USE RITUAL BLADE 10 TIMES IN A RUN (Easy-Medium)
Items Required:

Ritual Blade (Obviously)
Hacked Sensor (Optional)
Red Potion (Optional)
Gold Potion (Optional)

Explanation:
Cut it out requires you to use the Ritual Blade 10 times in a single run. The Ritual Blade will damage you for a full heart and give you a small amount of money in return, which usually isn't worth it as it will always be less than the price of a Heal. Once you find the blade - which can only be found in a hidden wall - take out enough money from your bank to afford healing and hold onto it until you find a Medbay or Bullets and Stuff shop. Then, use the Ritual Blade to damage yourself and heal yourself either with the cheaper Medbay healing - which is limited to 3 times per machine - or Red Potions. Optionally, if you find a gold potion, you can damage yourself up to 3 times and get all your health back from it. After doing this 10 times, you'll obtain the achievement.

If you're having trouble finding a Ritual Blade, the Hacked Sensor can make locating hidden walls a breeze.
WORK IT

WORK IT - BEAT TURRET BOSS WHILE WEARING HIGH HEELS (Hard)
Items Required:

High Heels (Obviously)
Backpack
Homing Bomb x 3/4
Lv. 2 Carry (Optional)
Hacked Sensor (Optional)

Explanation:
Work it requires that you defeat the Turret Boss while wearing High Heels, a passive item obtained from hidden walls. This is especially difficult due to the slowing effect the High Heels have, as they're entirely downsides gameplay wise. The easiest way to do this is to bring 3-4 homing bombs and throw them at the Turret Boss. Then, when there's only two/one power boxes left, switch to your High Heels and kill the boss. Make sure you strafe in a circle around the boss to avoid its attacks.
DON'T BRING A SNAKE TO A KNIFE FIGHT

DON'T BRING A SNAKE TO A KNIFE FIGHT - KILL A SNAKE WITH A KNIFE (Medium)
Items Required:

Knife
Backpack (Optional)
Repellent (Optional)
Poison Serum (Optional)

Explanation:
Don't bring a snake to a knife fight has a simple parameter explained in its description: Kill a snakeworm using the Knife item. In practise, getting up close to a snakeworm is a surefire way to get bitten and potentially poisoned. While you can run up and slash at it to kill it, using Repellent will cause Snakeworms and Bomb Bugs to hesitate for a second before attacking you, giving you a small opportunity to kill the snakeworm with your knife before it attacks you. It is also one of the few items that functions while kept in your backpack, too, so you can keep your knife out when approaching it. Optionally, if you can find the Poison Serum in a hidden wall, it will prevent you from being poisoned if you get attacked.
HUSTLE

HUSTLE - SELL A HEAVY ORE (Easy)
Items Required:
Heavy Ore (Obviously)
Explanation:
Hustle tasks you with selling a Heavy Ore. Heavy Ore can be randomly, semi-rarely found in large rooms, and appears as a giant rock with chunks of gold coloured ore sticking out of it. Picking it up will greatly lower your movement speed, and it cannot be stored in your backpack, locking you out of switching to whatever items you have stored in there. The easiest thing to do is to pick it up and take it back to the last bank you saw to sell. However, if there aren't any nearby, drop the Heavy Ore before entering every new room (by holding the interact key) and pick it back up before you enter the next. Once you find a bank, sell it for a quick 100 money and the achievement.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - GET BACK AT LEAST $200 WITH LAST WILL OR LIFE INSURANCE (Very Easy)
Items Required:
Last Will
OR
Lv. 3 Life Insurance
Explanation:
The quickest and easiest way to get Financial Responsibility is to buy a Last Will or three levels of Life Insurance at the first bank you find, take out 200/400 money and then kill yourself using your bombs. You'll gain $200 back as well as the achievement.
SO MUCH MONEY

SO MUCH MONEY - $10,000 IN THE BANK ACCOUNT (Medium)
Items Required:
N/A
Explanation:
A fairly simple achievement, all you need to do is beat the game twice without spending any money on the second run. As 5000 money is deposited into your bank account on win, winning a second time will deposit another 5000 money and get you the achievement easily.
ALL THE THINGS

ALL THE THINGS - UPGRADE EVERYTHING (Very Hard)
Items Required:

Lv. 3 Life Insurance
Lv. 3 Discount
Lv. 4 Carry
Lv. 6 Reload
Lv. 3 Bullet Magnet
Lv. 3 Coin Magnet
Backpack*
Poison Serum
Hacked Sensor (Optional)
Antidote (Optional)

Explanation:
A tricky achievement due to the hidden nature of Poison Immunity, All the things requires you to fully upgrade everything (except maximum health, fortunately, which is a different achievement). The first bank you find, take out 2000-3000 money and immediately max out your Discount and Life Insurance. Then, for any shops you find with upgrades, buy them out immediately and pick up a backpack along the way. Lastly, search around for hidden walls to find the Poison Serum, which will grant you Poison Immunity and is the last upgrade you need.

The Hacked Sensor can be useful for helping find hidden walls that can contain the poison serum. A bottle of Antidote can also be helpful if the Poison Serum poisons you/'makes you sick'.

*I'm not actually sure if the backpack is required for this achievement, but it appears on the pause screen and I had one when I acquired the achievement myself.
LOOK AT ALL THOSE HEARTS

LOOK AT ALL THOSE HEARTS - REACH MAX HEALTH (Extremely Hard)
Items Required:

Lv. 3 Discount (Optional)
Hacked Sensor (Optional)
Backpack (Optional)
Hacktool (Optional)
Disruptor (Optional)

Explanation:
Look at all those hearts requires you to obtain 7 max health increases, for a total of 10 hearts maximum. There are three ways to increase your maximum health:
Purchasing a Max Life Up from a Medbay.
Finding a Health Up on an item pedestal.
Finding a Rotten Life behind a hidden wall.

First of all, max out your Discount as soon as possible to make buying Max Life Ups from Medbays easier. Check every Medbay you find and avoid letting Bomb Turrets and Bomb Bugs blow them up in case they have a Max Life Up for sale. Next, I highly recommend keeping a Hacked Sensor stored in your bank and taking it out at the start of the run you want to attempt this on. The more hidden walls you can find, the greater your chances of finding Rotten Lives in them to further increase your maximum health. Keep in mind that picking up a rotten life will damage you for one heart, and add an empty heart container. Lastly, open any pink keycard doors you come across. If you don't have a keycard on you, try shooting the 'button' to open the door. While most times it will fail, there's a chance it will open and it may contain a Health Up. Keep in mind that this will permanently shut you out from the room if it fails.

If you have the Hacktool, you can use these on Keycard Doors for a greater chance at success at opening them for free. However, like with shooting them, failure will mean you can no longer open the door. Make sure there are no keycards around you can potentially use before trying this.

Optionally, if you have the Distruptor, you can easily backtrack to any keycard doors you were unable to open once you've acquired keycards for them. The Distruptor lets you backtrack through laser doors with no health penalty while it is equipped, meaning you can go from the end of the level to the start for free.

Just a note: For ALL THE THINGS, you only need carry level 3, not 4.

Also you can cheese Self-made winner by taking advantage of the Last Will. Built up a bunch of money (probably from winning the game), buy the last will and 99 of both bullets and bombs. Now die. Proceed to sell most of the bullets and bombs (keep maybe 20 of each?) and boom you've got like 800+ gold and plenty of supplies to start out without invalidating the achievement.

Can now confirm the Backpack is necessary for All the Things. It's the only thing I'm missing this run and I haven't gotten the achievement.

Can confirm. Work It achievement only works when you equip the High Heels during the whole fight. Meaning you can't even heal

I've seen other comments for Work It that have stated it only pops when starting the boss with High Heels equipped for the whole fight. Has this been tested?

Well done guide ! Thank you very much :)
