Even though the map was initially built to be realistic, this game is not an exact representation of the real world. Changes were made to fit the game's limits and to make the map more fun to play.

For reference, the stations generating freight contracts are (in order): Rotterdam Haven, Zevenaar, Coevorden, Antwerpen, Vlissingen, Amersfoort, Leeuwarden, Noord-Holland Noord, Roosendaal, Zwolle Rotterdam, Den Haag, Venlo, Eindhoven
Intercity (IC) contracts generate to (in order of chance): Utrecht, Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Groningen, Arnhem, Enschede Noord-Holland Noord, 's Hertogenbosch, Leeuwarden, Venlo, Maastricht, Heerlen, Vlissingen, Antwerpen
Commuter contracts don't generate to Rotterdam Haven and Zevenaar.
