Ship Retrofit Speed Fixer

Descrição
As of 3.7, the bug seems to be fixed.
I'll keep the mod up just in case, though I probably won't update it anymore.

Tired of Upgrade Overflow? No more!
With Dynamic Mod Menu support!

Have you ever played a heavily modded game of Stellaris, only to reach midgame and realize that it'll take 5408 days to upgrade your Battleships? Then this mod may be for you!

What causes upgrade overflow?
Ship Build Cost.
I'm serious[imgur.com]
For some reason, as your ship build cost approaches -100% (or 0% if 100% is your starting point), the time it'll take to upgrade those ships will scale up exponentially until you get the dreaded "..." upgrade time. This also works in reverse. As you move away from -100% (or 0%) your ships will upgrade faster at the cost of being more expensive.

What does this mod do?
It's pretty simple, you enter the mod menu via an edict, give yourself a negative build cost modifier so you can finally upgrade your fleets, and then set it back to 0. I mean, you could use this to cheat, but I don't really care.

Compatibily and load order
Should be compatible with everything, as there are no overwrites.
As for load order, anywhere should be good.

Huh, just tested and I can't seem to replicate the bug anymore. Neat I guess.

Have they still not fixed this bug?

In case anyone is wondering, yes the bug still exists.

@Zares I have no idea anymore, but I'll keep it up just in case

Is it still a thing? I'm playing with NSC and ESC, and haven't noticed this bug.

When we updated our fleet's equipment just a few days ago, most of the fleet was stuck for several years, and it was a huge struggle. In reality (SOL3), it would take that long to update equipment...
As for what caused the bug, I'm pretty sure the construction cost reduction buff was close to 100%. I wanted this fix earlier, thanks.
