An island nation that has been rife with civil unrest between the pro-state militias in support of the fractured state government and the ultra-nationalists known as the Kharseki In Purity (KIP).

Kharseki Island has been a topic of global interest due to the discovery of a mysterious crystalline material uncovered by off-shore drilling. This crystal, named Cerulean due to its dark blue glow, has rapidly become the most valuable resource due to its unique properties acting almost like a high density battery with self-recharging abilities. Despite the nation experiencing a rapid surge of economic prosperity in the beginning, the island of Kharseki now faces mass civil unrest among its population regarding how this new mineral should be used.
