Solution 1. Disconnect from the network - turn off the wifi if you have it. Then see if the game plays. Use this to see if this might be the cause of your issues.
Solution 2. OK, so you want the network, so let's just kill name resolution for the server it's getting some kind of corrupted data from.
2.1 run CMD as an administrator - easiest way to do this is to tap the Windows key, then type CMD, and instead of hitting enter, hit Ctrl-Shift-Enter. Approve the dialog if one pops up.
2.2 edit the hosts file - from the CMD window, run "notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
2.3 In the hosts file, add a line at the end that reads "0.0.0.0 {LINK REMOVED}datarouter.ol.epicgames.com {LINK REMOVED}datarouter-weighted.ol.epicgames.com" - there are two spaces on that line, and you shouldn't include the quotes.
2.4 Save the hosts file, close notepad, close the admin CMD window
