Hints for things I got stuck on
By alicewalice
This is just hints for things I really struggled with. As David has requested, I have tried to give multiple subtle clues and not the outright solution. Hopefully it will help you without spoiling things entirely.

A few general bits of advice
Supraland puzzle solutions are a mixture of straight-forward lateral thinking, and thinking so far out of the box you're not even in the sandbox anymore, sometimes in the same puzzle. It was easy for me to get stuck in the logical brain mode, so don't forget to consider alternatives. Sometimes you're meant to solve puzzles, sometimes you're meant to break them.

Supraland has its own physics, but they're pretty similar to real life. Gravity affects you, shooting a translocator shot while moving will make it go further than if you were standing still, etc. Think about what other properties might be programmed it that you might not have even noticed.

Everything is designed very carefully. Things are there for a reason. If you're stuck, think about what's available to you and how it's laid out. Why is this thing here? What do I know about how this thing works in Supraworld?

Supra games also be like: Yo dawg, I heard you like secrets, so I put secrets in your secrets so you can find secrets while you find secrets. Check all the nooks, all the crannies.

If it's not on the main path, you can always come back to it. Sometimes you need an item you don't have, or you just need a different perspective/more experience with how the game works. Nothing will ever be blocked off by something you do, not even beating the game.

If you have the force cube, you can hold F and where your mouse cursor is will emit light. Handy if it's dark.

I've given credit where applicable as to where I found the solution, but like, how are really going to know I didn't just solve it on my own? Because I'm telling you, I guess. I'll put that at the end.

And finally, these are just the areas where I got stuck, and some that I saw others struggling with. I didn't feel like looking through all the places other people got stuck, but if you think there's an area that others would struggle with, or where you struggled, feel free to comment it and I'll try and add it to the list. An achievement guide might be coming soon, and that will have solutions in it, because I know that sometimes even the best hints aren't going to work for you, and you just want to find the last chest!!

How do I get in the blue key card door?

You're not going to find a blue key card laying around. You have to make it.

What things about blue dude might help you? Paint on the floor, his comment about being healthy again.

What things are blue? You are. And yes, that's a hint.

But wait, if blue dude lives underground, shouldn't he be gray colored? Maybe something made his entire body blue.
That also made him healthy.

What am I supposed to do with this guy?

You need to solve the previous puzzle first. Open the white padlock
Then get the man his shiny.

How do I help the man in this room?

You have to make him heavier, not just add weight to the button he's on.
He hongry
Beach
How do I get on top of the white pillar?

The only item you need is the force beam. What's around that you can attach a force beam to?

Physics also come into play here. The achievement you get for solving this is called 'Momentum'

Notice any areas of interest in this picture?

Looks like there's something down here.

You can attach the two as they are, but it's easier if you raise up the bottom pillar

How do I get to this platform?

You can get there with the translocator, but there's an easier way.
Look down. Those guys look like they could use some shade

How do I light up these green rings?

If you're trying to do something really convoluted, you're probably not on the right track.
You really can solve this puzzle without moving.
I was trying to do something with the battery, and the runners, and blocking their path. That was not the solution. What is something nearby that could supply some force?

Or someone.
Lava/Final Battle
I found these 3 purple rings, but I'm not fast enough to light them all.

So here's how your cube cool down works: It starts recharging as soon as you drop a cube. The cube doesn't have to despawn. So, you can have a cube out, and then after it recharges, you can make another one real quick. Trying to make two cubes in quick succession will not work.
How could you make a cube stay put?

Give it something to sit on.

Okay, so I solved that bit, but now I'm stuck.

What you want to do is use your surroundings. I'm surrounded by enemies! Exactly.
That big mace the huge skeletons are swinging around, what's it made of?

Stuck again?

Use your surroundings again. Can you make a bridge somehow?. Yanked any shield skeletons into lava? You got several of them right here.

If you mess up either of those things, you can always whack the stone heart again
to start again.

I'm at the boss! How do I solve the room upstairs?

Your force cube floating away, huh? You're going to have to make it stay put.

I could open this gate if there wasn't this battery messing things up!
So make it go away. The couple in the cell downstairs are having an interesting conversation

How do I open this ding dang door!

You're not going to be able to do that for awhile, so don't drive yourself crazy trying to get in. Door does not open from that side.

Now, this probably seems obvious, but note that you do have to fulfill each of green man's requests before you can advance to the next puzzle area.

I need to make something blue.
I felt real silly when I got the answer to this one. You have done it before, and it's mentioned in this guide.

I need to make something powerful.

Look around the area, and not just your immediate surroundings. What is something kind of out of place? Or rather, something that was clearly put there. I would also say that you want to make the orb stronger, is what powerful means in this case.

I'm stuck in the area with the broken electricity(the second one).

Things to remember: You need to fulfill green dude's request before you can solve the puzzle. Essentially, you're completing the circuit to the green pipe. What things conduct electricity in Supraland that are available to you? You'll need a couple of different ones to complete it. Also of note is your force beam is quite strong. It can hold up doors that would otherwise close, as long as it doesn't disconnect.

I need to make something spicy.

You probably guessed what you need to dip it in here, but it has to be shallow.

How do I get the trophy that's high up on the cliff?

I dunno if this is the 'intended' way, but I ended up getting behind the big blue gem and sort of glitching my way up top, then translocating across. I say 'glitching' because there were force cubes in the walls involved, recharging when I wasn't on solid ground, etc. But it worked.

Thanks for this guide that didn't completely give away the answers, especially with those 3 green rings which i was trying the same convoluted solution by blocking the path to the runners with the force beam, and have them kick the translocator ball.
