Descrição
Gunship In The Desert a fully loaded 3 mission campaign based on an insurgency tour of duty in Iraq (2002) for the AH-94 attack helicopter.

You are based at, Forward Operating Base Basra South, and will be required to support special forces ground units as they clear out insurgents from a variety of locations around the city. There are 3 missions to complete;

Morning Shift
Afternoon Shift
Night Shift

There is an option within each mission to select a harder level of play (tons more bad guys) only for battle hardened VTOL VR Veterans. I have a separate Multiplayer version available to download.

This one is OK. Feels like it missed the mark some, but not by much. It has one annoying issue (shared with warthog in the desert) and a design flaw. It also doesn't appear to be an actual campaign, but the same mission duplicated 3 times for different times of day.

The annoying issue is the objective with several enemy supply cache tents, where one of them is ostensibly 'friendly'. The fact one of these tents is friendly is not mentioned until the player is within spitting distance, and God will smite the player's chopper shortly after engaging it as the enemy it appears to be, but it's fine to after the objective is complete.

The design flaw involves enemy air defenses. Put simply, they're a joke. Steam doesn't want me to go into detail why, 1000 characters.

Easily one of the best Campaigns/Missions in VTOL VR!
The scripted events and the voice communication during the missions are awesome!

Bishop there is an MP version available and a similar single player and MP campaign based in Afghanistan. All in my workshop page.
