SPOILERS ALERT AND WHAT INSPIRED ME TO MAKE THIS GUIDE
This guide will have spoilers for Steel Ball Run so if you plan to read Steel Ball Run, you may do so by reading it RIGHT NOW. Or maybe you don't know where to read Steel Ball Run, there's a pdf file provided by r/StardustCrusaders and u/jdudeman2, scroll down on r/StardustCrusaders and under rules you should see "Read the Manga" r/StardustCrusaders also has other Jojo manga freely available for you to read as shown so if you'd like to read other parts, you're free to do so. This guide was also inspired by Gyro Zeppeli's Five Lessons made by Lew so you can check that guide out as well. If you don't like reading and would rather watch a video, here is a very well made video done by Bizarre Star Platinum who explains Tusk in 20 minutes.
Tusk Act 1
Obtainment
Obtained by Johnny being worthy enough to wield the Saint's left arm.

Appearance and Abilities
Tusk Act 1 takes on the appearance of a fetus and allows Johnny to spin and shoot said spinning nails like bullets from a gun from both his hands and his feet.

He's also able to deal enough damage to decapitate you or even rip off one of your limbs with just one spinning nail bullet.
Tusk Act 2
Obtainment
Obtained by Johnny learning the ways of the Golden Rectangle/Ratio, which gives you an indefinite spin.

After learning the ways
of the Golden Rectangle/Ratio,
Johnny tries to find the
golden rectangle that
Gyro was already
seeing during the
battle against Soundman.
After finding the
golden rectangles in
the wild, Johnny evolves
Tusk.

Appearance and Abilities
Tusk Act 2 takes on the form of a gaming chair and nails after being fired after Act 2 is obtained don't immediately come back, but the power of Act 2's nails are increased and they also have a unique ability that allows Johnny to use the Golden Rectangle to power up his nails, making his nails "alive", burrowing into a surface of whatever it hit which makes a hole and said hole will target whoever Johnny targeted and will shoot up into the air.

Tusk Act 3
Obtainment
Obtained by Jesus, the man himself, giving some advice to Johnny to improve himself at aim because he's Silver 1 and so Johnny decides to shoot himself with the Golden Rotational nail bullet, creating a indefinite wormhole within himself.
Appearance and Abilities
Tusk Act 3 takes on the appearance of Glamrock Freddy and a Evangelion unit and allows Johnny to essentially create "wormholes" within himself, he's also able to shoot nail bullets within these "wormholes", as well as shooting Golden Rotational nail bullets, which allows Johnny's body parts to travel along with the hole of wherever he shot, giving him full access to wherever his enemies may be.

Only Johnny can enter through his "wormhole" as if you try to enter in, whichever body part you chose to stuff into that "wormhole", you will lose it.
Tusk Act 4

Obtainment
Tusk Act 4 is obtained by Johnny through using the horse's power to create the most Golden Rotation'ed Golden Rotation to ever exist, the "Golden Spin" as Gyro said before, the most infinite of infinite spins.

Appearance and Abilities
As seen from above, Tusk Act 4 is humanoid and has a wedding gown on, it's head is also controlled with the star shaped hole behind it, which it can use to look around. It's arms are also humanoid and it's hands are GIGANTIC.

Act 4 is able to appear just by the Golden Spin nail bullet being fired and colliding with anything, it's rotational energy is so powerful that it's able to avoid Funny Valentine's dimensional wall, along with ripping it.
As well as the ability to cross over dimensions, Act 4 also has incredible strength, allowing Act 4 to be used as a Stand similar to those of Star Platinum or Crazy Diamond.

Despite this, Johnny CANNOT use Act 4 as he pleases, although it is very loyal to Johnny, Act 4 can only be used when Johnny uses the Golden Spin nail bullet, meaning, Act 4 can appear from a wormhole if Johnny shoots the ground but Act 2 will be used instead if Johnny isn't on a horse or if he decides not to use Act 4.
Other stuff to clear up confusion
So, Johnny can switch between different Acts. Why is that? I'll tell you exactly why. First let's go over what each and every Act can do in short.

Tusk Act 1
Allows Johnny to use regular nail bullets.

Tusk Act 2
Allows Johnny to use the Golden Rectangle nail bullets in exchange for permanently forcing his nails to have to grow back slower.

Tusk Act 3
Allows Johnny to use the Golden Rectangle nail bullets on himself, creating a "wormhole" inside himself that rotates indefinitely.

Tusk Act 4
Allows Johnny to harness the power of the true indefinite spin and to physically attack with Act 4's fists.

In short, Johnny has to switch between Acts so then he is able to use the other Acts' abilities. If Johnny wants to use regular nail bullets, he'd have to use Act 1. If he had a horse and wanted to use Act 4, he can. If he needs to use Act 2 to make his nail bullets burrow into something, he'd need to use Act 2. If he needs to hide somewhere or attack from a specific position, he'd have to use Act 3. In short, Act 4 cannot use these nail bullet properties which the other Acts have. Act 4 is not able to use regular nail bullets nor regular Golden Rectangle nail bullets. Act 3 is not able to use regular nail bullets and so on.
Thanks for reading!
