You and your sanity
"A key to battle is a calm mind" ~ Koga

You need to do whatever is nessesary to keep yourself calm and focused.
Easier said than done - I know, but that's the most fundamental thing you need to wrap your head around. In order to battle frustration you will need to understand what's causing it and only after that you can try and prevent it from occuring.

In 90% of cases the only issue is your mindset, so let me provide you with a quick little list of things you need to keep in the back of your head:

- You are not a god and you won't always clutch a 1v5
- The best thing to do after you win a couple of matches is to take a break.
- The best thing to do after you loose a couple of matches is to take a break.
- Always have something to drink and eat regulary, don't let the game take priority over your body.
- Don't put too much pressure on yourself, if with every kill all muscles in your body flinch it's probably
time to chill out a little.

You and your team.
There is so much more to learn ~ Torvald

While your teammates skill will vary across all matches you play, just like before you need to keep few things in mind and understand.

Stop dehumanizing both your team and opponents. Your team consists of 4 people who - just like you, are trying to have a good experience and the same goes for your enemies. Your interaction both - your and the opposing team begins as soon as you enter a match lobby. Unless you are playing a TDM / Onslaught don't insta-lock champions. If your teammates don't pick their champions within around ~4s then you can lock a role you are playing (this of course goes for casual, as ranked matchmaking is a completly different story when it comes to picking champions). Always look and ask yourself questions - "Do we have a healer?", "Do we have a tank?". Remember that you can win without a support - but not without a tank. Tired of playing tank for the 6th time? Start experimenting with new builds and champions - trust me the game has so much more flavor when you get out of your main safe space and always remember that you are not the best player in the world and sometimes you will just loose - lost battleground is the soil on which your skill will grow.

Playing support/tank
"Support - the backbone of any team" ~ Lex

So you have followed my quide so far and got yourself into a situation where you have picked a healer because the team didn't have one.

I want you to stop thinking for a moment, what you just did might wastly improve your team's experience during this match. So what talent should you choose? If you are solo healing - of course you will pick the healing talent, but if someone has also picked a healer after you then you should wait and see what talent he chooses. If he goes for healing - in most cases you should go dmg. Double healing talents will bite you in the ass at the end of the match when enemies have Caut III.

Victory. Together.
"Unfreakinbelievable" - Ash

Be nice.

While sometimes people are just as*holes, there are also a lot of good people out there - just like you. Don't flame on people if they just failed to the job they needed to do, it happens. There is no reason to be mad at someone who lost a fair 1v1, died to a flank or just didn't dodge Jenos's ult in time. It. Happens. Some people might be just warming up or simply having a bad day. If you see someone flaming in chat, just don't respond because if you do you will just add fuel to the fire - let the anger flow through him and focus on playing. Don't leave the game when it's 1-3, you might be suprised how fast a hunter can become the hunted. The most important thing to do is communicate, use the in-game voice menu and familiarize yourself with it. Saying "Thanks" after a healer rescues you from a tough 1v3 might just make his day a little better and probably make him favor you in the battle. Game was good? You rolled the other team? Allright, type gg and give awards to people who you found most helpful. You might make some friends.

I've barely even played this and it's been a few years since I did.
Because of all the toxic people and feeling like I'd mess up and disappoint my team, I can't possibly play this without getting a panic attack...
