Edit 5-19-22: that said server is not active anymore, Everyone Admin switches to DDM once in a blue moon still but DDM's pretty much dead.

another edit: After the recent flyer patch, i tested stuff out with pawns on a private host game server, and spitters still don't do impact spit damage, but spit pools actually work, so dilo spit will trigger stamina drain and cryo spit still does it's AOE effect. I guess maybe using the spitter sniper playstyle somewhat works... worse than it did in 2020-21 tho
all attacks also no longer ignore armor and crit shots, so, for example, an Ovi attacking a Spino will do 35 damage to normal areas, about 45 to crit areas, and about 20 to armored areas.

pretty sure there's one freeroam server that'll switch to DDM sometimes, but those DDM things only last for like 90 minutes

plus dilo and cryo do nothing with their spit nowadays i think, bite is their only weapon now so they're pitiful against the dreaded carnivore threehorn cera and experienced pteras/tupas

and I agree with the chaos thing, if you played DDM in 2020, there was a server called Aedra DDM that was full of pteras and tupas almost 24/7, resulting in what was widely known as "Flyer Wars" where every species except ptera and tupa suffered. this was a few months before cera was added, after cera was added the flyer wars started to die off
