The difference in the amount of days between Single and Multiplayer makes some strategies not viable.
This guide was written a few years back for a much earlier update (noted in the guide description) , and back then specific rosters or hero buffs didn't exist.
I'll be updating this guide in the next few weeks - and creating a new guide with a Nightmare playthrough. I like to play Edwin, with Sentinels/Arablests, and catapults for defence.
As for the Volatists and no embolden - there was an update a few months ago I believe, where they can no longer be emboldened - as they instead gain damage when horrified. There is a buff where units get 25% embolden after each day, this is redundant for them.
Also, I have a question since I have a sneaky suspicion that you like to play volatists: Do you have any idea why my troops doesn't gain embolden xp? I've looked at the hardships that you can activate, but none disables embolden effect it seems. So is it just volatists(or specifically Vizargo) that doesn't get embolden?
It would seem weird, since the wiki tells you what the embolden effects are for volatists, so I feel I've done something wrong lol
Lots of details and useful information, I see a lot of people benefiting from this.
