Made some changes to the guide to make it "updated" for the latest version.
I won't be updating this anymore. If i ever find something new, i'll make a new guide and link it in the "End" section.
Thanks for even looking at this guide.
Same methods still work.
I've found a way to add back the "Image Sharpening" setting on the NVIDIA Control Panel if you're using a new driver! It requires using Regedit, but you should be fine if you've used it before.
The guide has been updated with instructions on how to do it.
Hopefully we hear more news from Crytek about performance...
Same fixes still work though.
I still won't personally have the overlay on, but i'd still suggest you test one match with it on and closing the apps before you start a match.
I'm not sure if the performance got better though. It feels the same, just less stutter-y than what it usually was, which is still acceptable.
I'll update the guide a bit, and then head to sleep. I'm going to update this guide a bit slowly from now on, because i have a lot of life stuff going on right now, but i'll keep trying to update this guide as much as possible. Hopefully, this guide will be one day useless and all the performance stuff gets fixed.
Thank you so much for even clicking this guide, hopefully it helped some of you. <3
I did get some fps drops here and there but that's probably caused by my pc loading the area i was in, after it loaded it worked perfectly fine. (and also considering i've only played the first game, in which i always get a bit of little fps drops as i've mentioned in the guide)
Nevertheless, i'll keep the overlay tip on here still, however i'll update it so you get a bit more performance if you have to use the overlay/want to use it.
I've also tried shift+tabbing mid game, and i've not noticed any frame drops or anything, which is fantastic news! I still wouldn't suggest alt+tabbing though.
Please note i've only tried one game so far. I don't know if it will work all the time, so please test at your own risk!
