Ironsights Designer

설명
The Ironsights Designer helps SWEP developers fight the correct angles and rotations for their ironsights. Designed for Sandbox.

Usage
Use right-click to change the view mode you want to change and click and hold left-click to drag along this mode.
You can press sprint (default GMod setting is Shift) to unlock the mouse from your screen.
Once unlocked, you can click various on-screen items to, for example, test the primary fire, secondary fire and reload animations. By clicking on the file path for the active model, you can change the path to the model of the weapon you desire to design the ironsights for.
The SWEP also gives you the ability to write the designed ironsights to a text file, the contents of which you can import into the Lua file of the SWEP you are editing.

Technical Details
Weapon ID
Should you want to spawn the SWEP via console or ULX, the ID is "isdesigner".

Files
All necessary materials are included within the addon's files and are automatically tagged for download for connecting players.

Credits
The original Ironsights Designer[garrysmods.org] was created by Devencire/Devenger. I ported it to modern Garry's Mod and made several improvements.

Ah, I understand now. I was going to try and make crosshairs for all of the hl2 weapons with this mod but lua coding it way above my head.

Either way, very cool mod!

To my knowledge, it is not possible to automatically alter existing weapons this way. The file/console output you produce is Lua code. You can put that into a custom SWEP with the shotgun model to achieve the desired effect.

I was able to locate the shotgun model and change the iron sights so that I could look down the shotgun's sight. After that, I was able to save it and load it's customized state. Upon taking out the shotgun however, no iron sight functionality was present.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

can u edit ironsights like tfa ones with this
