Basic Zombies
There are some zombies that don't really do anything special. They're the everyman of the shambling undead hordes. These, my friends, are the Basic Zombies which you will encounter many of. Preemptively, Radiated zombies regenerate health, and Feral zombies always spawn with glowing eyes and will sprint at you at any time of day. Feral zombies are resistant, but not immune to dismemberment, and Radiated zombies are even more so, but still not completely impervious. One other quick note: It is beyond the scope of this guide to state exactly how much pain you will be caused if you are slapped by one of these guys, partially because it changes based on too many variables, such as armor, perks, and difficulty, among others.

Normal Zombies
These fellers pack slightly more health than those in the next section, but are a tiny bit slower.

Infected Survivor
Bald, yellow, and hungry, these guys are always looking for some Man-Flesh to chow down on.

Zombie Tom Clark
Fun Fact: This zombie is modeled after a man who pledged $6000 on the game's Kickstarter in 2013 to have a zombie designed after him. Before Alpha 20, it was the Spider Zombie, and now, it's a regular one. He was the only backer who bought the package.

Tough Zombies
Now that you're familiar with the basic zombies, next up are the tougher zombies. These are the ones that'll take more effort to take down. These guys have more health, in some cases more armor, and are all slower than the people from before.

Zombie Biker
He trimmed his beard for Alpha 19, and it will no longer partially stay with his body if you decapitate him.

Fit Zombies
Fit zombies have less health than the Tough Zombies, but again, make up for it by being slightly quicker.

Special Infected
These are the zombies you really need to watch out for. These are the unique ones, that either had something different happen as their cause of death, or they were something special in life that gave them extra powers in death.

Crawler Zombie
Remember how I said you needed to watch out for the zombies in this category? You may be asking, what could a tiny crawling man do that's so special? Well, allow me to explain. They're small, so they can sneak up on you, especially in grassy areas. They can fit through small gaps, even shorter than you'll be able to. Also, they have a special knack for making your legs go *crack*
Health: 100
Feral Health: 150
Does not have a Radiated variant.

Spider Zombie
I normally like spiders, but not when they're human-zombie spider poseurs. They have incredible jumping abilities, able to leap a tall wall in a single bound. They used to be able to climb vertical walls, but they now have an ability that's considerably harder to exploit.
Health: 125
Feral Health: 300
Radiated Health: 550

Infected Police Officer
I call these guys Donut-Inhalers, for several reasons: One, they're beyond obese. Two, they puke at you as a ranged attack. Three, they blow up when they're at low health, all of which are symptoms of eating about ten too many donuts. Also, on Blood Moons, their puke is released in a shotgun-like burst. Take cover!

Mutated Zombie
Poor ol' Marty always strikes out and is perpetually unable to find a girlfriend. I feel ya there. Pour one out for the homie. Anyway, he also has a similar ability to puke at you, like the Donut-Inhalers, but his puke flies out of his topmost bubble and spreads out around him like some kind of hork fountain.

Feral Health: 350

Demolisher
He can and will tear down both you and any structure that stands between your delicious flesh and a grisly end, courtesy of his teeth. Deals incredible block damage both by smacking, and exploding. If you hit the explosive charge on his chest, of course. Also stomps spikes.
Health: 1000
Does not have a Feral or Radiated variant.

Screamer
The Screamer loves to hide in children's closets like Rudy Giuliani, and only come out when they make enough noise, then proceed to scream very loudly, not only giving the children a heart attack, but also attracting many zombies to the location. (Simply put, if you have too many crafting stations like a campfire or workbench going at the same time, that produces a heat signature. Shooting guns produces it too, among many other variables, and if the heat signature reaches a certain threshold, then a Screamer will spawn to investigate. KILL IT QUICKLY.)

Feral Wight
These are the guys you need to watch out for more than anyone else. These are the most simple of the Special Infected, but also easily among the scariest. They can and will sprint at you no matter what. There is no stopping these beasts. They have longer melee range than most other zombies, and their attack power is comparable to that of a Bear. They will not hesitate to rip you apart, then refuse to share their meal with the other members of the horde. They do not have a normal variant.
Feral Health: 550
Radiated Health: 1000
Radiated ones regenerate slightly more health than radiated zombies of other types.
Zombie Animals
Unfortunately, some animals have since been infected with the zombie virus, and they are just as aggressive, if not more.

Most of these have some special ability, be it being significantly stronger than most other zombies, incredible speed, or even flight. Animals really are amazing. None of them have a feral or radiated version, with the exception of the Vulture.

Zombie Dog
Health: 200
They spawn more frequently in cities and towns, and are easily able to outrun a survivor sprinting at full speed. Their favorite food is Man-Flesh, which you typically won't be able to find in stores, regardless of whether they're overrun or not.

Zombie Bear
Health: 2000
"Oh it's so big, why do they keep these in bars and taverns?"
They have an enormous health pool, but are somewhat slow. And when I say somewhat slow, I mean still faster than a survivor's top speed. They're found reliably in some structures, such as a bar and a construction site.

Zombie Vulture
Pictured: Annoyus Anyoneus
Holy crap, these things are the absolute worst. They fly. They do damage. They can infect you quickly. They're silent. They go turbo mode to chase vehicles. Oh, and on Blood Moons, they get to spit at you.

Radiated Health: 120

Grace
Grace is a gigantic mutated pig found in the "Bob's Boars/Carl's Corn" building. It's unknown whether she's a zombie or simply mutated from over-consumption of Super Corn. Either way, she's big, incredibly powerful, and will attack you on sight. If you do manage to beat her in combat, however, you'll be rewarded with enough meat to feed the Donut-Inhalers mentioned above.

I will be updating this for Version 2.0 and as many subsequent versions as I can. My goal is for this guide to remain helpful even throughout successive updates, which isn't always easy for a game that's updated quite frequently. I'ma give it my best shot, though.

UPDATED FOR ALPHA 21 WITH UPDATED HEALTH VALUES!
(And also entity damage for the Donut-Inhaler's explosion ability)

Firstly, they weren't considered zombie animals, and thus would be outside the scope of this guide.
Secondly, they were removed in Alpha 16.

What ever happened to the hornets ?

I don't know. That's not the purpose of this guide to make theories, but I did mention that it's not known whether she's a zombie or having side effects from the probably-experimental Super Corn.

I think Grace was a normal pig [pet? or prized champion?] that Bob had grown/bred to be gigantic (just like Carl was working on Super-Corn) but now she is radiated. She can be butchered for fresh red meat, so I don't think she is a Zom-Pig. Though shouldn't she be a zom-pig in order to qualify for being radiated? Perhaps the FP should have made her yield Rotting Meat.
