Force Unleashed Motion Fixes
By MANSATANIC
Conclusion: The issue lies in the game engine, its not scripted to be compatible with most intel gpu's. There seems to be no fix for built-in graphics card.

Not lag, instead it's FPS lock -Suave Doggo
It's not lag, the game is locked to 30 FPS, you need to download a fix to raise the FPS, although it can cause bugs/crashes itself. They can be found on the PC Gaming Wiki for the game, although I've honestly just learned to deal with it. Maybe it's from years of playing console games before PC games, but I don't really mind it at times. Same goes for the second game as well.

30 FPS UNLOCK
Luckily a fine user modded the Force Unleashed executable to let you increase the 30fps cap.

On a side note this mod also includes modded .exes for Force Unleashed II as well!
First download this .7z file[community.pcgamingwiki.com] and extract it (use winrar, 7zip, etc)
Navigate to your local install of your game (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars The Force Unleashed)
Repace the original .exe file with the modded one of your choosing!
NOTE: The increased frame cap may result in a higher chance of crashing, the unlimited cap option increases this chance even further. When running over 40fps this mod can also cause objects to automatically rise when you force grip them when.
Max pre rendered frames -DoMMMination
I had the super slow framrates and slow motion too. I changed "Max pre rendered frames" in the nvidia control panel from program controlled to 1 and it fixed my framerates completly. Don't ask me why.
Radeon AMD graphics people -CaptainKaster
**WARNING** This is for Radeon AMD graphics people. Though I assume it should work for everyone.

I've had this terrible blurring on the horizon since I got the game(5/4) and like most, I have been trying to find a fix. Recently, I found a discussion where this guy had Nvidia graphics and said to switch the graphics card to 'High Performance.'

Lo and behold... it works! (Thank you pcbb97 and whoever helped him!)

So, if you have Radeon graphics on a laptop(not sure if it works the same on desktop), right click on the desktop screen and select Graphics Properties. In my Control Center there's a subset called 'Power' and within this is the 'Switchable Graphics' option. You may have to do some looking around, I'm not sure whether every Radeon graphics card system works the same.

Basically, you'll want to find a page where it says certain applications are
A. Not Assigned
B. High Performance
or C. Power Saving

Select/find the Force Unleashed program(try running the game before hand as it'll come up under recent) and set it to 'High Performance.'

Hopefully the game should be working normal then. Sorry, if I'm no help. Just thought I should put in my fix so that maybe more people could enjoy the game.

EDIT: I thought maybe I should add my graphics card. Radeon HD 6770M

Nvidia GeForce GT 630M chips -Apocanaut
Hey - just wanted to add my fix that was sort of based on this fix, but for different graphics cards (adding because yours didn't quite work for my machine):

I'm running a Samsung Windows 7 machine with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and Nvidia GeForce GT 630M chips (Aspyr says Intel chips aren't supported).
I finally got it to work by right clicking on my desktop and selecting 'NVIDIA Control Panel'. Then under the '3D Settings' tab on the left menu, I selected SWTFU from the first dropdown. For the second dropdown, I selected "high-performance NVIDIA processor". Then, in the third box, I chose the following settings:

Ambient Occlusion: Not supported for this application
Anisotropic filtering: Application-controlled
Antialiasing - FXAA: On
Antialiasing - Mode: Application-controlled
Antialiasing - Setting: Use global setting (Application-controlled)
Antialiasing - Transparency: Off
CUDA - GPUs: Use global setting (All)
Maximum pre-rendered frames: Use the 3D application setting
Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration: Single display performance mode
Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization: On
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Allow
Texture filtering - Quality: High performance
Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: On
Threaded optimization: On
Triple buffering: On
Texture filtering - Anisotropic filter optimization: Off
Vertical sync: On

I have NO idea which setting change or combination thereof did the trick, but after I chose this exact combination of settings, the game ran flawlessly for me (except for the unrelated sound glitches on Raxus Prime II and the Death Star). I hope this helps someone - it's ridiculous how many people have asked this question all over the internet without finding a solution.

Mac users -dylan
An6one who’s playing on a Mac that has * both * an Intel and a NVDIA graphics card:

Open System Preferences
Click on Enegy Saver
Uncheck the “Automatic Graphics Switching” option.

Then start your game. This will mean your computer will use the better graphics card, and things will display properly.

Worth noting that because physics are tied to framerate, 60fps mods can cause some oddities. Objects climbing higher while held with Force Grip, and it makes stopping the Star Destroyer way harder.

The Nvidia settings, although not up to date, did the trick for me and allowed for a far better experience (no motion blur, 60 fps). Thank you :winter2019happydog:
