🚩 Start Mision

Eugene Francois Vidocq is found in a jail in Central Paris – Palais De Justice. As you enter the area where you can start the Mystery short cut-scene begins. Each Murder Mystery also unlocks new weapon for free and an additional Murder Mystery.

Body you should investigate is found in central Paris – Cite District. It is inside a small Monastery compound. Body is on the first floor inside the Monastery building.

Once you have collected all Clues go back to Friar Honore and accuse him of murder.

Main mission reward is Wooden Hammer. This is a heavy weapon. Once you complete the mystery you can equip the weapon free of charge.

There is a dead body next to the bench in western part of Temple / Le Marais. Once you get close to it you can start the Mystery.

Get back to the Outdoor Theater and accuse Ficarron. He can be found on the Theater’s stage. Once you do it you get teleported back to jail, where you have to talk with Lapparent for Mystery completion rewards.

Main reward is One-Handed sword called – Back Sword (An unusual sword used by Swedish soldiers during their war against Russia). For 25% additional damage you have to spend 200 Creed points.

⚰️ Where to start the Mystery?

Ancestral Vengeance is a two star difficulty Murder Mystery in Assassin’s Creed Unity. This Mystery starts in the central part of Ile de la Cite area. Upon entering Paul Teragon’s house (this location is marked on our second screenshot below this text) investigate his body and start the mystery.

Bones of Contention is a Murder Mystery that starts in district called Halles, where you’ll come across a dirty sackcloth bag on a river bank.

The Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat is one of the longest Assassin’s Creed: Unity Murder Mysteries, because it consists of significant number of clues.

Once again get back to the Prison area. Person you want to accuse is Charlotte Corday, that can be found near the metal gate door. After that talk talk with Lapparent and collect the Mystery rewards.

The Body Politic mystery can be started in western part of Vendome district (Le Louvre zone). Get close to the dead body on the second floor to start the mystery.

Get back to the starting area and accuse Monsieur Gerard as the guilty one for maximum reward. Once you do it you get teleported to Chief of Police’s room. Talk to Charles Cochon de Lapparent to complete the Mystery and collect your Claymore.

Hot Chocolate to Die For is a Murder Mystery side mission in AC: Unity that is found in Marais district. You can start the Mystery once you investigate the body found at the center of a small garden. This is a 3/5 difficulty mission.

They say that you can usually find a suspect near the crime scene and that’s the case in this murder mystery as well. Get back to the garden and accuse the only person there – Amelie Montvoisin for full rewards.

The Hand of Science is a 4 star Murder Mystery in Assassin’s Creed Unity. This Mystery starts in Sorbonne district. In order to start the mystery interact with a dead body near the school.

The Death of Philibert Aspairt is a Murder Mystery in Assassin’s Creed Unity, that starts in Saint-Lambert district. In order to reach the location where the mystery starts you have to enter the Catacombes through the underground passage, but first you have to find the entrance. Inside the catacomb investigate a death body next to the campfire.

The Red Ghost of the Tuileries – Murder Mystery starts in Tuileries district, between Palais des Tuileries and Louvre. Dead body that starts the Mystery is found inside the locked room, on the third floor of the building. It’s pretty hard to unlock this 3 pin lock, thus it’s a good idea to unlock stealth skill Master Locksmith.

❓ Who is the murderer?

As usual, the murderer can be found near the crime scene. Go back to the starting area in the Office. Accuse the only person that is not Ministry of Finance Valet. Accuse the murderer Counselor Herve LeGall, victim’s assistant for the maximum reward.

A Dash of Poison is a 5 star difficulty side mission in Assassin’s Creed Unity. This Murder Mystery starts in Invalides district, where you’ll face a lot of enemies. Dead woman’s body that starts the mission can be found in a small alley, close to the flag of France.

The murderer is at Apothecary Stand. It is the doctor Samuel Maran. Accuse him and collect the prize by speaking to Lapparent.

I also include the murders in Franciade, which are few, but I also included them since this DLC is included in the main game, you have to take advantage of it.

⚰️ Where to start the Mystery?

It takes place in northern Francaide, Cemetery district. It shows up on the map once you complete Sequence 13 Memory 3 – “A Shadow From the Past”. This is the easiest Murder Mystery in AC Unity, thus the 1/5 difficulty level. This is why the murder mystery gives only 2,500 livres and no gear reward. Rather disappointing and boring.

❓ Who is the murderer?

The next step guides you toward the Square location. Once you are there you find out that the culprit committed another crime. This also reveals where the murderer is most probably hiding. His hideout is located southwest of the Square. Culprit the street artist is on the street, among the crowd. This is where accusing has no purpose as the murderer becomes hostile once you get close to him.

It is the The young musician found at the Market. Once you accuse him he becomes hostile and you should defeat him. After completing the Murder Mystery you’ll also receive the Female Soldiers database entry. It tells a rather nice story about the women rights in the Revolution.
