Heyra and Rong can now have children

You can now remove all apparel restriction in Vanilla Framework Expanded's mod settings. (Options ==> Mod Options ==> Vanilla Framework Expanded ==> Togglable patches)

This mod brings a new humanoid race to Rimworld.

Heyras settled in Rimworld a long time ago. They possess a unique psychic ability to, occasionally, hear whispers in their heads. Despite these whispers being mostly scattered words, Heyras believe they are the oracles of God. We do not know if these whispers are real. But it is confirmed that Heyras have a higher psychic sensitivity. Other than that, stats for Heyra is similar to human.

Heyran factions are medieval level. However, with the help of your colony's technology, you may craft spacer-level Heyran gears for you Heyra colonists.

This mod also features Rong people, the nemesis of Heyras. They are a small group of fierce barbarians who make a living through constant raids. The Rong tribe is technologically advanced and can even build War-Automata to make up for their disadvantage in numbers.

This mod adds a new crop: milksoy, a plant that yields edible beans that are rich in protein. The beans can be used to produce plant milk, and filtered out bean pulp makes good animal feed.

*In the game, bean milk is just vanilla rimworld's milk. This is for the sake of simplicity, as bean milk is not different from vanilla milk in terms of use

After further research, a variety of machines can be built. Fill them with milksoy or bean pulp, and they will produce bean milk, compressed biscuits, and even synthetic fibers over time.

• bean pulp - The by-product of the bean milk-making process，makes good animal feed. It tastes terrible so do not give it to your colonists.
  
• compressed biscuits - Better packaged survival meal that does not need a dining table to eat. Only costs bean pulp but has worse nutrient efficiency than packaged survival meal.

Heyras are now capable of transforming into their alternative form.

A transformed Heyra is armed with razor-sharp claws, protected by hardened scales, and swiftened by the Blessing of Air. A Heyra in this form is can take on several enemies single-handedly. However, this state expires very soon and will cause extreme exhaustion after that. Transformed Heyras can not equip anything, and everything that was equipped will be stripped in the moment of transformation. They do have decent armor in beast form so it is possible to tank bullets while being naked.

The post-transform fatigue will gradually recover over a period of weeks. The subject can still perform transformations during this time, but doing so will further crumple their body. Transforming when the severity is "extreme" or "near-lethal" will cause death to the subject. Use this ability only as a last resort.



No Heyras are born with this power, in order to give them the power, you will need the items below:

Seed of awakening - The seed of awakening is a single-dose gene activator for Heyras. The drug gives back the ancient power that Heyras once possessed, granting them the ability to transform into a beast form.

Ancient Heyra blood - A red ampule that holds the genetic factors of ancient Heyras, the essential ingredient of Seed of Awakening. This item can only be acquired through a new challenging quest.

Vanilla apparels
By defualt, Heyras can not wear vanilla apparels or modded apparels from other mods except: kid apparels/ shield belt / smokepop pack / backpacks from CE. This can be changed in Vanilla framework expanded's mod options. (Options ==> Mod Options ==> Vanilla Framework Expanded ==> Togglable patches) Then I suggest using Appearance clothes to solve graphic glitches.

Saved games
Can be added to saved games. If added mid-game, please use Vanilla Expanded Framework to spawn Heyra factions.

Combat Extended
Limited compatibility. When played with CE, some features of this mod will NOT be available, e. g., Celestial Whisper will lose its ability to shoot through objects.

Disable [Hediffs optimisation] in its mod configuration or the transform ability in this mod will not work.

• My pawns are huge/ tiny
  This is a known bug of HAR. Easy fix: Enable 'Disable texture caching' in Vanilla Framework Expanded's mod options.

  Heyran apparel fulfills the requirement of any royal title.
  
  
• I have Ideology DLC. Heyras are spawning with Ideology hats and they look kinda funny on Heyras
  Turn on developer mode in the game you are currently playing. Go to Ideoligions tab, find the Ideoligion for Heyra factions, turn on edit mode and manually delete their preferred apparels.
  
  
• I can not find Rong settlements on the map
  They are hidden, like mechanoid or ancients.
  
  
• My H.M.A.A. suit does not do rocket jumps even though the description saying they can?
  You need Royalty DLC to unlock the rocket jump.
  
  
• Where can I get the bionic parts for Heyra's horns?
  Miracle seeds are the bionic parts equivalent for horns. You may craft them at the Heyran altar. To apply the miracle seeds, the pawn needs to go through a surgery.
