Master Chief

The Legendary spartan, John 117, the Master Chief, has entered the fray in Rivals of Aether! This is a remaster of my previous Master Chief mod, now with more dynamic gameplay, improved sprites, and all new traits and abilities! Nspecial: Fire weapon
--------------------------------------------------------
Master Chief fires his currently selected weapon. Each weapon has different properties and attributes that make them better for certain situations. For a detailed explanation of each weapon, look at the description for Dspecial.


Fspecial: Frag grenade
--------------------------------------------------------
Master Chief chucks a frag grenade in a forward arc. Frag grenades bounce of surfaces and explode upon contact with an enemy.


Dspecial: "You need a weapon?"
--------------------------------------------------------
Master Chief swaps to the next weapon in his weapon cycle. The cycle is in a fixed order and only goes one way. The weapons are:

Assault rifle: Fast fire rate but low damage and no hitstun. Hold down the special button to fire at the fastest rate. Infinite ammo, can be aimed left and right, jump cancellable.

Plasma rifle: Similar fire rate and damage to the assault rifle, but has hitstun on the projectiles. The fire rate and hitstun can allow you to empty an entire clip on an enemy. Limited ammo, can be aimed left and right.

Plasma pistol: A slow startup sidearm that fires a small, low damage projectile with high hitsun. Holding down the special button will charge the shot, and if charged long enough, the projectile will stun the opponent in place long enough for almost any follow up. Limited ammo, can be aimed left and right while charging.

Needler: Rapid fire weapon that fires sharp spikes into the opponent. After being hit by 10 needles, the next needle that hits the opponent will trigger a supercombine explosion, sending them upwards in a pink explosion. Limited ammo.

Brute shot: Powerful grenade launcher. Fires a grenade in a straight line that explodes upon contact with an enemy or surface. Holds 6 shots.

Battle rifle: Three round burst rifle that can be fired manually or automatically by holding down the special button. Has good hitstun and damage to zone out opponents. Holds 36 bullets.

Sniper rifle: Exceptionally powerful ranged rifle. Upon pressing the special button, Master Chief will enter a stationary stance and start aiming with the sniper reticle. The reticle is controlled by moving the joy pad and fired by pressing the special button again. The Sniper will fire on the small dot in the center of the reticle, so take your shots carefully. Holds 4 bullets. Can be jump cancelled or shield cancelled.

Rocket launcher: The legendary SPNKR, the rocket launcher is without a doubt the most powerful weapon in the chief's arsenal. Fires a large rocket that explodes upon hitting an enemy or terrain. Holds 2 rockets.

Uspecial: Gravity lift

Master Chief throws a gravity lift straight down. The gravity lift launches anyone who touches it straight into the air allowing for unique combos and movement. The Gravity lift passes through platforms, but not solid terrain. Master Chief cannot deploy another gravity lift for a while after using one.

Sweetspots
--------------------------------------------------------
Fair (Spartan knee): Hit the opponent on the first active frame of this attack for much more damage and knockback.

Dstrong (Gravity Hammer): Hit the opponent with only the upper part of the hammer for a powerful downward spike.
