Braixen

Braixen, The Fox Pokemon, joins the fight in Rivals of Aether! Their moveset is based on the one they have in Pokken with a few changes adapted to fit the rivals gameplay!

This is my first mod!

Braixen is a mid range zoner/spacer with a lot of disjoint. They work best when a good distance away from their opponent but can take a fight up close.

Nspecial - gimmick: Sunny Day
Braixen increases the damage and knockback of the attack used after sunny day. Takes a while to execute, though. Sunny day enchances specials if they're used after Sunny Day. use Nspecial at the endlag of all the specials (Uspecial has to be used on the ground) to ignore the long startup of Sunny Day

Fspecial - Fireblast
Sends out a fireball that travels a set distance before expanding into a giant projectile that hits twice before launching. Will not expand if an opponent is hit by the first projectile.

Enchanced: Loses multi hit but increases damage and knockback exponentially as well as burning the opponent! The first projectile expands into the second as soon as it hits an enemy.

Dspecial - Fire Spin
Spawns a small vortex of fire in front of them that hits 3 times, keeping the opponent in place.

Enchanced: Bigger Hitbox but loses multi hit. Instead, sends the opponents upwards with increased knockback and hitstun.

Uspecial - Flame Charge
Sends Braixen in a direction based on what button is held during the charge. If up is held then Braixen will go diagonally upward, if down is held Braixen will go diagonally downward, if no button is held Braixen will go straight forward. Charge to increase damage.

Enchanced - Increased distance, hspeed and vspeed.

Normals:
Jab - a 2 hit jab, swiping their stick from left to right.
Ftilt - Psybeam. Sends a beam of psychic energy forward. Good disjoint.
Dtilt - Braixen gets on the ground and pushes their stick forwards.
Utilt - Braixen swings their stick upwards, hitting opponents in front and above them.
Nair - Braixen spins their stick, sending jets of flames in a circular motion. Multi hit
Fair - Braixen jabs their stick in front of them. It has a sweet spot at the end with a burn consume effect
Dair - Iron Tail. Braixen swipes their tail downward twice, the first hit has a sweet spot that spikes while the second hit is much weaker.
Uair - Spins their stick upwards, lifting them up a little.
Bair - Uses flamethrower to propel them a short distance forwards.
Fstrong - Swings their stick in front of them, spawning a projectile that travels in an arc and burns opponents that hit it.
Ustrong - Flamethrower. Sends out a jet of flames diagonally upwards. A great anti air
Dstrong - Light Screen. Spawns 2 light screens that hit opponents on either side of Braixen
