Me, This Guide and Everything
Hello and welcome to my guide! I'm F3ctom and I've been playing Bejeweled 3 type games for at least 5 years on various places for example: Bejeweled online, omgpop.com, Jeweled Deluxe on phone. During this time I have become quite skille especially when it comes to finding matches during the game, but Bejeweled 3 has made the game much more advanced which challenged me in a good way. I love hunting achievements and do so gladly, when the achievements are simply understood but need focus and some experience. And this is why I enjoyed getting all the achievements in Bejeweled 3.

As you can see from the stats, it took me about 16 hours to get all the achievements. This is not because some of the achievements were really challanging (I was probably stuck on the hardest ones to achieve up to 2 hours max) but because some achievements require to make immense amount of special matches (3400 total Flame gem explosions etc.) which might get annoying, but as long as you have fun or you even can multitask (like listen to an audio book) while doing these timeprovoking achievements, these should be achievable.

What ecouraged me to do this guide:
Firstly, I love teaching and showing tips. This is just something I love to do. I love seeing people imrove after I've given them some tips. It gives me lasting feeling of fulfilment.
Secondly, during the 16 hours I've put to this game I noted quite a few tips and used myself, which had quite a huge impact on the time it took me to get the most hardest and time consuming achivements, and it would be selfish if I would just leave them be and not pass them on.
Thirdly, this game does not have a achievements guide yet (at least not on Steam), so why not make one?
Finally, this game is fun and giving some general gaming tips might make it more fun for other players aswell.

And of course, Don't Panic!
General Tips & Tricks (Read First!)
The game itself is pretty simple - by switching 2 gems that are side-by-side, try to make a row with at least 3 same colored gems. Most of the tips and hints the game gives are quite useful, so read them if you can.

On top of that, this is what I suggest:

1. Use WASD keys and mouse for moving the gems. Just hover on a gem you wish to move with youre mouse and then press W (up), A (left) , S (down) or D (right) for it to move to the corresponding directiong. There are many ways to move the gems, but this requires the least amount of time.
I used the click-and-drag motion myself most of the time I played, but I needed the hover and WASD for the hardest achivement, so you might need it yourself.

2. If you want to make the most amount of matches (Classic mode, Poker mode), always move from top to bottom and after that, start from top again. This is to prevent you from messing up the matches you can make on the top of the field, while you make them on the bottom.
Note: Discard this tip if you are trying to create a possible match with creating a match on the bottom of the field. On some gamemodes, creating a chain of matches is the key, so you should perhaps move the bottom field matches to create a chain.
I used this tip on Classic mode and Poker mode (when trying to get Flushes). Yet again, on some quests where the moves are limited but you ahve to explode a large amount of gems, moving the bottom ones first helped me a lot.

3. If the time is not important, always keep an eye out for the opportunities to create special matches, especially for the chances to create a Hypercube.

4. You have given the option to Hint (reveal a match) and Restart, might as well use them, ah? The reset button may give you a nice boost on any game type (like starting with a field where there's a chance to create a Hypercube with the first move or getting a Flush in Poker with the first hand). And if you've been stuck for far too long (2 seconds for me) trying to find a match, using the Hint button does not cost anything but only a small amount of time.
Note: It is not smart to only make the moves the Hint button suggests (trust me, I've tried). The hint button almost never shows the best move and it actually takes far longer to press it than one may think.

5. On the contrary, don't throw a game away when you feel it may not be won (especially in the Quest mode). Sure, the outcome may seem to be clumsy, but I've won a guest on the last second or with the last move for numerous times.

6. Don't Panic! The '30 Seconds' and other notices the game gives you may put you under pressure. But there really is no reason to panic. If you still do, turning the volume down might help.
Advice For Beginners (Players with no or little experience)
WARNING: This game is addicting! Once started, it is hard to stop or put away for a long period of time. Pause is always available but not very efficient for as long as the game itself is open. This guide will in no way help if you happen to get addicted, but instead might encourage it. Proceed at your own cause.

Bejeweled 3 is a casual, arcade, puzzle game, where the goal is to make rows or columns of at least 3 same-colored gems by switchid two gems, that are locating side-by-side.

A good place to start the game is from Zen (AKA Endless) mode. Here can one just relax and get familiar with the gameplay. There are no goals (achievements) in this game mode except to reach level 5, which will unlock Butterfly Mode.

As soon as you get bored of Zen mode move along to Classic mode for trying out new strategies or Quest mode to pracitce speed. Lightning mode is also a good place to start, but to reach far there (for the Platinum achievements) right from the start might turn out to be quite difficult.

Try to reach as far as you can in Quest mode for practice and the more simple achievements. After finishing the Quest mode I had about 50% of all achievements, then continued with the other ones.

Remember, this is just an advice. The game itself is yours to play and you can do whatever you want. Just remember to have fun.
Inferno: Platinum
Clear 3400 Flame Gems

How to: Flame Gems are created when a player matches a row or a column of 4 Gems from the same color.
Flame Gems are the most common special gems and can be created in every game mode.

Tip: Diamond Mine starts off with the lowest amount of different colored Gems, thus creating any Special Gem is the easiest. Although there is a timer, it is not hard to dig down while creating Flame Gems. The clearing part should not bet that hard.
Diamond Mine is also great, beacuse the occurance of Hypercubes is the highest, in which case you can destroy a specific colored Gem from the field and create a better field in order to make Flame Gems.

Personal Experience: I kept playing Diamond Mine to about 1 million points and cleared about 150 Flame Gems each game. So in order to get this Achievement you need to get equivalent total of 22 million combined points in Diamond Mine games.

Note: This achievement should be the one to hunt only if other's (except Stellar and Chromatic) have been achieved since clearing a Flame Gem is a part of almost any other Achievement.
Stellar: Platinum
Clear 1300 Star Gems
How to: Star Gems are created when a player matches a T shape (5 Gems total), a L shape (5 Gems total) or a + shape (5 Gems total) from the same color.
Although not as common as Flame Gems, Star gems can still be created in every game mode.

Tip: Just as for the Inferno: Platinum achievement, Diamond Mine has the lowest amount of different colored Gems and it is the best game mode to create Special Gems.
For more detail read the Inferno: Platinum achievement above.

Personal Experience: I kept playing Diamond Mine to about 1 million points and cleared about 50 Star Gems each game. So in order to get this Achievement you need to get equivalent total of 26 million combined points in Diamond Mine games.

Note: This achievement should be the one to hunt only if if other's (except Inferno and Chromatic) have been achieved since clearing a Star Gem is a part of almost any other Achievement.
Chromatic: Platinum
Clear 1300 Hypercubes

How to: Hypercubes are created when a player matches a row or a column of 5 Gems of the same color. This can only be achieved if the middle Gem is added by the player, trying to create it any other way will cause a premature match.

Tip: Just like for the previous two achievements, Diamond Mine not only has the lowest amount of different colored Gems, but Hypercubes can be mined from the bottom and they also drop occasionally. Because of this, Diamond Mine is definitely the best place where to hunt this achievement.

Personal Experience: I kept playing Diamond Mine to about 1 million points and cleared about 50 Hypercubes each game. So in order to get this achievement you need to get equivalent total of 26 million combined points in Diamond Mine games.

Note: This achievement should be the one to hunt only if if other's (except Inferno and Stellar) have been achieved since clearing a Hypercube is a part of almost any other Achievement.
Blaster: Platinum
Destroy 60 gems in a single move

How to: Destroying gems are the most basics of the game. To achieve this either try to create a chain or use Special Gems (especially Hypercubes and Star Gems) to create a chain reaction.

Tip: This is one of the simplest Platinum achievements and not much effort should be put into. 60 gems is not that large of a amount and most probably will be achieved while hunting another achievement.

Personal Experience: Got this achievement randomly while trying to get the platinum achievement either in Lightning mode or Classic mode.
Bejeweler: Platinum
Finish a Classic game with a score over 500,000

How to: Classic mode is available to play from the scratch and the goal is to always matches on the field. The game will end if there are no more matches. Points will be rewarded for matches.

Tip: There are many strategies in order to get this achievement. Luckily 500,000 points is not that much in order to put much thought into it. The basic strategy and what is most commonly suggested is to always have at least one Hypercube as a back-up on the field and use it only when no other matches are available, but this can be achieved with no startegy at all.

Personal Experience: I always looked for the chances to create Hypercubes and had 1-2 always on the field. Also a good strategy that helped me was that I matched the Gemns on the top first and then moved to the bottom. When there were no more matches on the bottom I jumped up again and repeated the process. Also, Star Gems helped a lot, Flame Gems were annoying.
Final Frenzy: Platinum
Score over 60,000 points during a Last Hurrah in Lightning Mode

How to: Lightning mode is available to play from the scratch and to get any points from the Last Hurrah, you need to have Special Gems on the field when the time runs out and you have no extra. The Special Gems will explode and if new matches are created, they will be cleared. Both will reward points.

Tip: First of all, Time Gems (Gems that add time) will be turned into either Flame Gems (+5) or Star Gems (+10) after each round. Try to reach at least level 6, the higher the better, and have as many Special Gems as possible. After the explosions, it is common that matches will be made and quite often new Special Gem types as well. You either need to have luck, reach a very high level (multiplier) or have many Special Gems on the field in order to get this achievement. A combination of at least two will do.

My experience: I had a little under 10 Special Gems on the field and had reached to a multipler of 7. With some extra matches after the wipeout, I got about 70,000-80,000 points during my Last Hurrah. It took me a couple of tries.
High Volatage: Platinum
Score 750,000 points in Lightning Mode

How to: Lightning mode is available to play from the scratch and to get points you need to match gems, but keep an eye on the timer! If you run out of time and you haven't collected any special Time Gems, then the game will be over.

Tips:
1) Once the time has started to tick, do not stop! In Lighting Mode every second counts. And I mean EVERY second.
2) Time Gems are the most important gems in this mode, but it doesn't mean you need to only focus on the time gems. Note that this mode is different from the Time Bomb mode in the Quest mode. Still keep an eye out for potential Hypercube or other glorious matches. But don't forget the time!
3) Not only do you have to keep on earning time, but it needs to be well spent. A huge stack of time will get you far but not much closer to the Platinum badge. What you need to do is keep on matching as many matches as possible for the highest combo. A higher combo will award you more points (there is a multiplier) and when you are fast enough you will enter the Blazing Speed mode for a few seconds where every match has the effect of an exploding Flame Gem. Remember, Don't Panic! These few seconds are very precious but don't fall under preassure.
4) If you have already collected a minute amount of time gems in one round, then (if possible) leave the Time Gems be. After the time has run out and the new round begins, all remaining Time Gems will be converted into Flame (+5) or Star Gems (+10) which can be used for your advantage later on.
5) When the time is running out and there are not Time Gems left on the field (as in you are most definitely going to lose) try to make as many Special matches in the end as possible. When the Last Hurrah starts the special gems will explode and you will get your points either way.
6) If you are very good with mouse control, you can quickly click on the Hint button every now and then to prevent breaking your combo by not being able to find a combination on the field. This tip isn't very recommended because it does require you to be fast. If you're not fast clicking on the Hint button will only hinder you,

My experience: I've had the most experience with Lightning Mode and enjoy it the most because the game is fast pace, a single game doesn't consume much time, and I'm good at it. The Lightning mode badge wasn't difficult for me at all, because I already had experience with Bejeweled type of games before, I reached near 1 million points in the very first game. This means for you, that practise and experience will take you places (or at least a step closer to achieving 100%).
Ante Up: Platinum
Score 750,000 points in Poker mode

How to: Poker mode is unlocked when you reach round 5 in Classic mode. Points are awarded in Poker mode for creating a specific combination of 5 colored matches in a row (Note that only the first match will be counted and a chain reaction won't matter). The 5 types of combinations starting from the least rewarding are:
Pair (2,500): Get 2 same-colored matches and 3 that differ from each other
Spectrum (5,000): Have each match from a different color
2 Pair (7,500): Have a combination of 2 different colored pairs and another 3rd color match
3 of a Kind (10,000): Get 3 same-colored matches and 3 that differ from each other
Full House (15,000): Get a combination of a Pair and a 3 of a Kind
4 of a Kind (30,000): Get 4 same-colored matches and one that differs
Flush (50,000): Get 5 same-colored matches.
Extra points will be rewarded when a Flame Gem (+100) or a Star Gem (+250) is created.
Creating a Hypercube will result in a '?' color, which the game will choose automatically for your benefit (it will make the combination a color, which will give you the highes amount of points). Using a Hypercube up will result a match with the color you used the Hypercube on (using the Hypercube with a red Gem will equal to matching red Gems).
After a few low-rewarding combinations have been done a Death Mark will appear on the lowest combination that does not have a death mark yet and when a combination is created, which has the death mark, a coin will be flipped which will decide whether you are allowed to continue playing or the game is over. If 40,000 points are rewarded when there is at least one combination with a Death Mark on it, the Death Mark will be removed from the highest-rewarding combination.

Tips:
1) In this mode, abuse the Reset button and try to get a Flush from the first combination. Multiple Flushes in a row from the start are possible to get (I have a record of 3).
2) Don't rush this mode unless you want to lose on purpose. Try to evaluate the field before starting a combination and think of all the possible matches you can make. Rushing will most probably result in a lot of Pairs and Spectrums which will not get you far.
3) Don't focus on a single color. 2 Pairs and a Full House are quite rewarding as well.
4) Start from the top and move to bottom. Matching the bottom ones first will might result in a ruined match at the top. (This tip is only a suggestion, a clever player will combine top and bottom matches to create even more matches)
5) Try to use the Hypercube as the last match in a combination, because it will destroy all the gems that are the same color you used it on, most probably leaving you without any more matches of this color. Using a Hypercube as a first match of a combination will pretty much destroy the chances of getting a Flush.
6) If a great combination could not be made, don't match one or two colors on purpse. Try to gather as many one-colored gems on the field, so during the next round, a better combination could be created.
7) Although Flame and Star Gems give extra points, it is not worth it if you get the Special Gem instead of 2 same-colored matches. A difference between a Pair with a Star Gem and 3 of a Kind is 7250 points, latter being better.
8) If you still have difficulities, recharging you Luck bar might work aswell (only works if you are an alien... with a Luck bar).

My experience: It took me about 5 tries to get this achievement (not counting the resets to get Flush from the beginning). I always start a combination with a full scan of the field so it took some time (a little under an hour) but it is rewarding as this badge will get you 4 achievements.
The Gambler: Platinum
Get 100 flushes in Poker Mode

How to: Poker mode is unlocked, when round 5 is reached in Classic Mode. Flushes are created when a combination of 5 matches only consists of 5 same-colored Gem matches.

Tips: A lot of resetting. And I mean A LOT! If you know you won't get a Flush with the first (or the second) combination, reset the field. It is suggested to still try to create a Flush and reset when there is no more same-colored matches. This is only a suggestion, but does not work that well really.

My experience: I just kept resetting and got a Flush about once every 3-4 resets, sometimes multiple in a row (without ever resetting). The deal about still trying, when you can't see a whole Flush only works, when you already see 3 same-colored matches. With some luck, you can get the other 2, but to my experience, I only got about 10% of the Flushes this way. It was fun to have some Luck but the progress is not much faster either way.
Glacial Explorer: Platinum
Score 750,000 points in Ice Storm Mode

How to: Ice Storm mode is unlocked after earning 100,000 or more points in Lightning mode. The objective of Ice Storm mode is to destroy the ice columns, which is done by matching gems over them. Points are awarded for creating matches, extra points will be recieved once a column is destroied.

Tips: From Bejeweled Wiki, Ice Storm mode[bejeweled.wikia.com]:
Horizontal matches knock ice columns down a bit, but vertical matches destroy columns completely.
Don't get too focused on a column if there's no match on it; work around and toward it instead.
Try to keep Star Gems and Hypercubes on hand as a safety net.

And that's about it... If you manage to get 750,000 points in Lightning Mode, then this is not much harder. Also, not only don't get focused on one column, but keep in mind every column. If you manage to reach 500,000 points, then the columns start rising ultra fast and when you focus only a few of them (like one side of the field), then the other is going to explode before you even notice it.

My experience: I tried to re-do this achievement after a few month break form this game (I had no memory of doing it previously) and it took me about 5-7 tries until I finally managed to break the 750,000 barrier and pushed through almoust to a score of 1,500,000. This game mode is especially challenging for me since about 90% of the matches I make are horizontal (not counting maches which create super gems). I tend to panic when a second layer of ice is starting to rise in one column and this destroys my focus. This is why, after having looked at the score and seeing around 700,000 points I got a lil' too excited and ended up with 730,000. Once I know I'm THAT close to a frustrating achievement I get all sweaty and stuff. Luckily, this game (at least not this achievement) did not require much focus from me, so after about 5 tries I discovered myself thinking some random thoughts about possible dinner choices and when I eventually looked my score I notived 900,000 points. Not much tention after that.
Ice Breaker: Platinum
Get a x15 Column Combo in Ice Storm Mode

How to: Ice Storm mode is unlocked after earning 100,000 or more points in Lightning mode. To destroy a Column a vertical match has to be created, where an ice column rises. Special Gems can also be used to destroy a column (for example a star gem).

Tips: Read General Tips & Tricks first.

There are not many tips to give for this achievement, since I don't have a specific method for this, but general advice would be to try to get the achivement as early as possible. If you reach 3x or 4x multiplier, you might as well restart because the game becomes fast and it is hard to focus on vertical matches, when you need to create horizontal in order to stay in the game.
Now watch this video:
At around 0:33 seconds this player starts to create a 15x column combo and has it by 0:57.
This means that the player destroyed roughly 1 column every 1.5 seconds.
If you watch this player's speed, it is not ultra fast. The moves this player makes are calculated and requires experience, but they are not Korean fast.
Sure, this achievement is the rarest (and in my opinion the hardest), but it is still doable and far from impossible.
NOTE: The method in this video, as said in the description, is hovering your mouse above a gem you want to move and then, by pressing W,A,S or D, moving to the corresponding direction. This is the method I use and it is very effective compared to the drag and drop, or other methods.

My experience: This achievement, as I said, is the hardest in my opinion. It is not the most time-consuming (at least it was not for me), but definitely the most frustrating and toughest to break. It took me about 3-4 hours of gameplay to finally manage it, when I got this achievement. Many months have passed of me not playing the game and just now I tried to redo this achievement. The best combo I got to in about 5 tries was 11. Pretty good, I guess, since I was rusty and it was hard to even get 750,000 points. A few hours tops into it and I would've gotten the x15 combo again.
Diamond, Mine: Platinum
Score 750,000 points in Diamond Mine Mode

How to: Diamond Mine mode becomes available by completing any four mini-quests of the first Lost Relic of Bejeweled in Quest mode. Points are awarded for digging up Gold, Diamonds and Artifacts. This means, that a gem near a the specific block needs to be destroyed or a Special Gem needs to destroy the block within its Area of Effect. Destroyed Dirt or Stone blocks do not award points. After all the bottom layer block to a certain level are destroyed extra 30 seconds are awarded and the field moves 2 layers downwards.

Tips: Try to save Hypercubes and when you have a desire to use it, don't pick a random gem next to it, but choose a color which occurs the most in the bottom layers.
In this mode horizontal matches are more useful in the bottom layers since they happen to damage a higher area of bottom blocks.
Know, that the bottom layer block drop. This means, that in order to get extra time you don't need to destroy the highest layer of blocks, but just have to make sure that all the block at least drop to below the 'Additional time' level.

My experience: Diamond Mine is the simplest and for some reason the most fun competitive mode in my opinion. This may be because of the hight amound of Hypercubes one can destroy during a single game. This and the Relic Hunter achievements were one of the most simple Platinum achievements I recieved. I have a personal High Score of 2.3m (I eventually grew tired of the game and just waited for the timer to finish its countdown).
Relic Hunter: Platinum
Collected 15 artifacts Diamond Mine Mode

How to: Diamond Mine mode becomes available by completing any four mini-quests of the first Lost Relic of Bejeweled in Quest mode. Artifacts can be collected by digging them up. This means, that a gem near a the Artifact needs to be destroyed or a Special Gem needs to destroy the Artifact within its Area of Effect. After all the bottom layer block to a certain level are destroyed extra 30 seconds are awarded and the field moves 2 layers downwards, which may reveal new Artifacts

Tips: This achievement should be recieved during the hunt of Diamond, Mine: Platinum. I suggest one to read tips given under that Achivement.

My experience: Same as with the Diamond, Mine: Platinum.
Butterfly Monarch: Platinum
Score 750,000 points in Butterflies mode

How to: Butterflies mode is unlocked when you reach round 5 in Zen mode. Points are awarded in Butterflies mode by matching gems and, more importantly, matching butterflies to their corresponding gem colour. Every butterfly moves one column upwards every turn. Collecting multiple butterflies in one move will give you a considerable point boost. Butterflies have to be collected before they reach the spider, or else the game is over.

Tips:
1) In this mode, time is not essential. Do not hurry and look for the most effective move you can make on the board
2) You don't have to collect a butterfly every move. Sometimes it's better to create a Flare gem or Star gem and then create a combo. However, don't go overboard and conserve butterflies too much or else you won't be able to stop the swarm of butterflies from getting to the top.
3) Make sure to use Hypercubes effectively. Since butterflies move upwards every turn, they tend to run into Hypercubes you create, and thus activating them which can be a waste of your Hypercube.
4) Make sure that you don't spread the butterflies too far apart from each other. If two butterflies get to the top of the board and they are both on other sides of the board you'll probably lose the game. At least you can save yourself from losing if multiple butterflies that are close to each other make their way to the top, because horizontal matches will bring them all down.
5) Try to keep your special gems relatively high on the board. Butterflies spawn at the bottom of the board and replace the gem they spawn at, even special gems. If your special gem does end up at the bottom of the field you should try to use it before it's too late.
5) Creating a horizontal match above a butterfly will force it to stay where it is, because it can't move upwards. Use horizontal matches to line up more butterflies together to create a bigger combo.

My experience: It took me only a few tries to get this achievement, because it honestly isn't that hard once you nail the basics of this game mode.
Butterfly Bonanza: Platinum
Collect 10 butterflies in one move
How to: While it may seem obvious that you need to get this achievement in the Butterflies game mode, it is actually easier to get in the Butterflies IV quest found in the fourth part of the Quest mode. It's easier to get the achievement in this quest because butterflies spawn way earlier in this quest, so resetting isn't an issue unlike in the regular Butterflies mode where the game starts off at a slower pace. It's not impossible at all to get this achievement in the regular Butterflies mode, but if you want to get it easier you should get it by playing the Butterflies IV quest.

Your strategy for getting this achievement is pretty obvious: gather as many butterflies as you can in a small area and use special gems to clear at least 10 butterflies in one move.

Tips:
1) (In case you play the Butterflies IV quest) Make sure to reset the game once you reach 41 butterflies, because the quest automatically ends once you reach 50 butterflies.
2) While you have to conserve butterflies more than normally to get this achievement, make sure to clear butterflies that form a threat for you and can get you a game over.
3) Carefully examine the board if you end up with a good number of special gems and calculate how many butterflies you will be able to collect with a specific move.

My experience: This acievement is a little time consuming, because you need a little luck to set up the requirements to collect 10 butterflies in one move. When I got the achievement I used 2 Flame gems and 2 Star gems.
Heroes Welcome: Elite
Complete Quest Mode
How to: To earn this achievement, you have to complete the Quest mode. Completing Quest mode doesn't just require you to get all artifacts and achieve a 50% completion rate. To complete Quest mode you have to beat all 40 Minigames and achieve a 100% completion rate.

Tips:
There is no need for deep strategy necessary to beat these minigames: they are minigames after all. Since the minigames only last a few minutes at max you tend to complete them quickly. If you choose to do the Quest later in your Bejeweled 3 career you'll be able to complete it easier with the experience you've gotten throughout playing the game.

My experience: This is one of the easiest yet most fun achievements to get. I had no trouble with any of the minigames except for Poker and Sandstorm. Sandstorm can be troublesome because you can have difficulties with revealing one little tile neccesary to reveal the final treasure. Poker can take a few tries, especially Poker III, because Poker really requires you to get a lot of points in only a few moves. The best thing to do is to reset the quest until you get a headstart by getting a Flush your first hand. Other than that special gem bonuses are actually useful in the Poker quests, unlike in the actual Poker game mode. The other minigames should not give you much trouble since they're extremely straightforward.
Annihilator: Elite
Match two Hypercubes together
How to: To achieve this achievement, you need to match two Hypercubes. This can only be done if the Hypercubes are adjacent to each other. Hypercubes are created by matching 5 gems of one colour. This achievement is often gained naturally as you play the game, but if you don't have it yet there is a rather convenient way to earn it.

By playing Diamond Mine you can get a Hypercube in the beginning of the game, since there's only a few gem colours the game starts with, and then get a second one for free by digging into the ground. I'd suggest to reset the game once you get your free Hypercube from the ground and can't match it with your previously created Hypercube, but it's not a bad idea to keep playing.

Tips:
The one tip to give is to get rid of hazards around hypercubes as quickly as possible. Flame gems have a pretty long reach and can accidentaly activate a Hypercube, just like Star gems.

My experience: I didn't have to try to get this achievement because I got it during my first few hours of playing, just like most players do.
Superstar: Elite
Create a Supernova gem.
How to: To gain this achievement, you need to match 6 gems of one colour. This sounds extremely difficult and intimidating, but it isn't. The only problem with getting this achievement is that there is no good strategy to get it, since getting 6 gems of one colour in a row can't be done manually. The only way to get it is to let the game drop gems from above the board and create a formation of 6.

Tips:
There are no real tips to give here, since once again this achievement is totally dependent on the game fortunately creating the 6-in-a-row match for you.

My experience: Just like the Annihilator achievement I got this achievement after a few hours of playing the game.
Levelord: Elite
Reach level 10 in Classic mode.
How to: This one is straightforward. Reaching level 10 in Classic won't take you a lot of time, but it will require some skill because you can get a game over by having no more moves left. You get this achievement together with the platinum Bejeweled achievement naturally.

Tips:
1) Concentrate on getting hypercubes and keeping them on the field until you have no other moves left.
2) Special gems seem to scramble the board pretty well so make sure you have plenty of them if you feel like you're about to run out of moves.
3) Need a hint? They come at no cost in this game mode, so you might as well make use of them.

My experience: This is the first achievement I went for. It took me 3 tries to get it, with one attempt being very close. If you get a game over even though you almost got to level 10 you should relax and try again: it won't take much time to get back to the point you lost at.
Top Secret: Elite
Score 300,000 points in all secret games.
How to: This achievement is silly, considering you automatically get it if you got all the score-depandant achievements related to the secret games. The secret games are Poker, Butterflies, Ice Storm and Diamond Mine. All you have to do here is follow the guides for the achievements High Voltage, Ante Up, Glacial Explorer and Butterfly Monarch. However, considering that Top Secret only requires you to get 300,000 points in each mode you probably don't need even those guides to get this achievement.

For x15 Ice Breaker you can you simple trick. When you playing in Windowed Mode, dragging window will freeze the game, but not set it on pause mode, so you still can see gems and take your time planning your next move. I'm against any form of cheating, but this achievement requiers insane amount of luck to obtain. I mean, even with this trick it's not that easy due to RNG aspect, so f*ck it.

Thank you for this excellently crafted guide. :-)

I was not able to win about half the quest games, and was about to not play the game anymore.
Your guide helped me to win them all and get the quest badge. :steamhappy:

The hardest one for me was where you would have to explode the wall away with only special gems. :steamsad: I ended up doing it over and over and over - maybe three hours until I got lucky in the last two seconds.

I earned Platinum Ice Breaker today. Perhaps the best advice is to practice making matches before they exist. Watch how the gems fall and predict where the vertical match will be so that you can make it the instant it's available.

Ice Breaker Platinum is obscenely difficult. It is an unholy combo of luck and skill. It's not possible on every board; my strategy is restarting every time I get a bad board. This takes about two seconds. Waiting for the game over screen takes about ten seconds, but you do get to see your column max and collect the score.

Hypercubes are the enemy. There is a brief window in the animation where you may not move any gems; this counts towards the combo timer and will end it. Be aware that star gems are useful, but the half second it takes for them to animate may also end your combo. Look for other vertical matches while it's animating.

It is easy to get frustrated. You may run out of available matches at x9. You may realize that you missed an obvious match at x11. The worst is when you do play well, getting three or four rapid vertical matches in a row, but none of them break any ice columns and you lose the combo.

Annihilator wasn't working for me at all, but after I verified the game files and finished a game, a whole bunch of achievements popped at once that weren't working before.

I've played in 2018 then 2021 and Annihilator maybe is broken for me. It's ridicullous to match 2 hypercube but never counts for me. :winter2019sadyul:

To all who went for the Gambler Platinum with the reset technique, once you passed a mileage like 35/30, you need to 'finish' the game and it will register and become 5/70 for example. This is the case for me at least.
