-Autopilot - Heading hold, waypoint hold, and heading hold with cruise and hover modes
-Lights - Nav, Landing, Strobe, Beacon, Interior

Operating instructions:
1. Overhead panel: Master switch and Avionics switch: On
2. Overhead panel: Engine On/Off and Throttle Idle/Flight
3. Wait for RPM to reach >90% (RPM light will turn off)
4. W/S for pitch, A/D for roll, Up/Down for collective, Left/Right for yaw.

**Caution while flying backwards or sideways over 25kts, may become unstable.
**Caution landing/taking off with tailwind, may become unstable if landing with >25kt tailwind. All aircraft should land/takeoff into a headwind when possible.

Pitch trim can be used to maintain a specific forward speed.
Return all trims to zero for position hold ability.

Autopilot functions with heading hold (HD) and waypoint hold (WP) in both hover (H) and cruise (C) modes.
Yellow indicates selected but not active.
Red indicates not active.
Green indicates active.
Grey indicates N/A.

Heading hold (HD) will hold current heading and can be adjusted with the +/- touch controls
Waypoint hold (WP) is available after entering waypoint coordinates into the keypad. It will hold bearing to waypoint and switch from Cruise(C) to Hover(H) mode upon approaching the waypoint.

Both Heading hold (HD) and Waypoint hold (WP) will active Altitude hold (ALT) upon activation. Altitude hold (ALT) can be activated or deactivated independently. While Altitude hold (ALT) is active, set altitude can be changed via the +/- touch controls.

When the autopilot is not active it will display current heading and altitude.
Heading hold (HD) will display set heading while active
Waypoint hold (WP) will display bearing to waypoint while active.
Altitude hold (ALT) will display set altitude while active.

Hover (H) will maintain hover
Cruise (C) will maintain forward cruise speed until reaching a waypoint which will then switch mode to Hover(H)

OmniMap+ functions as a GPS nav with waypoint input that also feeds into the autopilot. It also features Emergency beacon finder, Radio Direction Finder, and Radar.
Modes can be changed at the bottom of the screen with the left and right touch arrows between Nav, EBL,RDF.

Radar can be activated on any mode by touching the R on the right side of the screen.

EBL/RDF modes have a "clear" button for resetting the signals. It's the C on the right side of the screen.

The menu at the top center of the screen allows users to change unit types and set the RDF frequency.

is this based on the AW139 or the Bell 222?

(until you broadcast on that frequency again to stop it so you can release your ship from it after having unloaded the rescued npc's)

ok, thank you, just wanted to make sure it would fit on that ship and not just end up sinking the stern of that ship. it is too bad it does not stop for other ships that come near it, would be nice to have it setup so you can start broadcasting on a certain frequency and it then stops for a certain amount of time allowing you to attach a few ropes between your ship and the hospital ship, (or magnets) you could then just be towed along attached to its side as it continues on its route.

@spartan119990: Yes it's the default AI Hospital ship.

Got it, thanks for answering!

You can, but it's mostly for adjusting to a heading and switching out of cruise mode on arriving to a waypoint

Not even "H" for hover?
OMNI  [автор] 28 ян. 2022 в 4:26
You shouldn't need autopilot for hover and positioning. It will hold alt and position as long as trim is less then <0.10

hmm it seemed to me it starts sooner. Ok, maybe I am using AP wrong ;)
