Advanced Jet HUD

Description
This is a general use HUD for jets or other aircraft. It has many features that assist with flight, and is very easy to set up.

Instruments
The HUD displays altitude(100s of ft), change in altitude (ft/s), speed (knots), and orientation indicators. It uses a pitch ladder with labeled marks for each 10 degree interval, and roll is measured by 7 markers 15 degrees apart from each other. It also has an indicator at the top for the bearing/heading (depends what you put into the system).

Velocity Indication
There is also a marker for the velocity vector, marked with the prograde marker (a circle with lines up, left, and right). The marker moves based on the angle of the velocity vector, where it will go from end to end of the screen if the velocity is completely to the left, right, up, or down.

The controller also simulates the G's pulled when flying. In real life, the HUD works with a projection onto a clear screen. When pulling high G's, the pilot moves up or down or to the left or right, which makes the HUD projection move around on the screen. The controller uses the acceleration to move around the whole display.

RADAR
The HUD is capable of displaying up to 7 radar targets at a time. The controller is calibrated to the HUD being as close as it can be to a compact pilot seat, in front of the headrest.

Variable Features
The controller has two settings:
  • You can enable or disable a filled in background, this paints in the sky and ground.
  • You can change the amount of sway produced by pulling G's. This is helpful if you don't like the feature or just have sensors in a place that makes them more or less sensitive to the forces.

Credit
This was designed completely by myself, as well as some help from the kind people on the Stormworks discord for some of the math. If you would like to use this in one of your creations, please feel free to do so. If you post it on the workshop, it would be appreciated if you gave credit.

add the fov parameter to property.
it is inconvenient to change it in the code.

i'm glad you were able to make some fixes, I like to make my code accessible for that reason

It works well and I was able to make some fine tunings to fit my needs (change colors, change size, calibrate the radar via the fov variable)

Well tbh idk why the huds are so problematic my hud is on the same level as the head but still doesn't allign well enough so i gotta look down 2-3 blocks to see the actual visual

not much I can really do, it's hard to get it perfectly aligned with the seat head rotation.
