描述
Freedom Planet's Dragon Valley level based on a layout from Indie Pogo. Home to Lilac the Dragon Girl and Carol the Wildcat. This stage was originally made as part of an effort to give Indie games stages that haven't had them in Rivals yet. The original game is arguably better than 90% of Sonic games and the sequel is apparently even better, though I have yet to play it myself. This stage is the series' equivalent of Green Hill Zone.

Also comes in Aether mode so the stage can be as competitive or as casual as you want.

This stage has been updated as of 19th November 2022, the Aether mode has been completely redesigned from the ground up to be more speed based as befitting of the game it came from and it warps you to the other side of the stage unless you're in hitstun.

Also the stage now has support for 10 music tracks with two only playing if you select certain characters. Big thanks to ATalksToSelf for getting this thing set up.

It's nice that there's this amazing Freedom Planet 1 Stage with amazing music tracks from both games! Hopefully you eventually make more. I ESPECIALLY would love Fortune Night!

One year to the day this stage released, I have completely redesigned the Aether layout of this stage, got cleaner loops for the music and implemented the new music display template. You also get a chance for exclusive tunes if you play as Lilac or Carol on this stage.

After seeing the legions of stages from Jonah Iwankow I took note of how a stage should stand out in line with Rivals. So here's Version 2 with Hyuponia's Stage Selection template and black lines around the edges of the stage itself.

Also the fog now scrolls, because for some reason I didn't think to do that before...

I ripped the music using Audacity and checked it against my own computer's speakers to see if the volume was hitting the yellow range, using video editing software to enhance. The major boss and FP2 DV tracks seem fine volumewise, haven't been able to test the other two

Maybe it's a glitch but for me, it's extremely quiet. It's like that for a lot of custom stages but not all of them. Maybe about half. I have the same problem with the other Dragon Valley stage someone made.

In what way is the music inaudible? Seems fine to me. Unless its too quiet or too loud?

The music is inaudible. Also, I'd say Freedom Planet is better than 100% of Sonic.
