Ok, Step 1, and this is important.

Realise that you probably aren't that good at the game, and will likely never be able to fly like that one dude who is seemingly invincible in his attack heli/jet.

You might not be able to fly like the pros, or aim like shroud, but there is other ways to have great fun in this game.

Step 2.

Understand that this game is a battlefield game, therefore the possibilities for funny and cool vehicle launches, an traps, and just good old "only in Battlefield" moments are vast. the physics in this game are rather unique

BF4 has the widest variety of gadgets in the whole series im pretty sure.
So many possibilities. C4 or slam mines on atvs so that you can ram a tank and blow them up, using an EOD bot to try to get a kill.

Something i used to love to do was use the MAV drone to spot people, and find an enemy AT mine. I would then wait high up in my drone for an infantry or vehicle to pass near the AT mine then zap it with my drone which blows it up and often kills the infantry or vehicle. This was so satisfying to pull off.

Slam mines can stick to almost anything, so you can make some very clever traps for tanks by placing them on the sides of buildings or prop cars.

You can even get roadkills with the SUAV drone

once again, the possibilites... read through the gadget descriptions and think about the possibilities. If you have an idea, it probably works.

This is another important step. If you can't get this one, then i don't know if the other steps will lead you to having an improved fun level.

You HAVE to care less. This game came out in 2013, and there is nothing to be gained by being a pro at it. This is a video game. People play games to have FUN, and there is plenty of ways to have a grand time in this game. Nobody cares how good you are at flying the little bird in battlefield 4

So there we have it. Those are the steps, and things to think about when trying to find a good time in battlefield 4. I don't think many people need these seeing as the game is already naturally fun, they are just some things i thought about that make the game especially fun for me

Having a friend to play the game with will help you care less about your score, and help you pull off some cool launches/tricks but it isn't necessary. I have much fun when i play solo as well.

There is annother thing to keep in mind. This might ease your salt, or make it worse: This game statistically has one of the lowest hacker rate of any popular online FPS. That is because it is banned in china full stop. I think this happened after the 'china rising' DLC.
Nothing against chinese, they just have a ton, if not the most video game haxors there..


So make it your mission to suicide ram that pesky tank, or maybe zap some campers a$$ with the EOD bot and kill him . I am sure you will be able to think of something to make this game more enjoyable for you
