The nas is also running mirrored NVME's for stuff like a VM (which I haven't gotten working nicely yet though...) when the new GPU's become more readily available, the 1080Ti is going in the NAS and I'm giving it a new look to get that working.
I actually have 1.5 Gbit/s down on my internet but can't take advantage of anything over 1Gbit/s just because the router itself is 1Gbe. I've considered picking up my own and running it but for the extra 50MB/s I haven't gone through the hassle.... Downloading at over 100MB/s is pretty damn good and even the biggest games I can get in less than 20 mins.
Went up to 1 or 7 GB/s, might still have a picture of it somewhere :)
