Best FPS fix and stutter fix

If you are using a nvidia graphics card roll back your driver to 496.13, its meant for battlefield 2042 and runs so much smoother

I am using a 2070 super and A i7700k and have notice a big difference also I would recommend turning on directX12 in the config file if you have a newer gpu. 16 series or 20 series and above I believe but I would try it ether way

- Link to driver ~ https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/181096/
- To turn on DirectX12 go to documents - bf2042 - settings - PROFSAVE_profile - open with notepad - scroll down until you find GstRender.Dx12Enabled 0 and turn the 0 to a 1 - click save and then start the game

The first match will be laggy at first as it is redownloading shaders.
Best of luck and I hope this helps you as much as it did for me

In my case, new nvidia drivers makes the game a little bit better. I never tried .13 to compare these two, but definitely newer one in better than .64

@Wrocu The new drivers help some people not all. I get worse performance with the new one and so do a lot of others

ATTN: A new driver is out for nvidia. So far in my case the driver has made the game run worse then when I had the 496.13. lmk if you see a gain in fps or if its running like it is for me

not intentionally no, It was released after the battlefield 2042 beta and has had dlss working for 2042 I believe. The driver everyone was on before the one that just released was also for battlefield 2042 and it did not run smooth. The new driver is also made for battlefield as well and we will have to see if it runs any better

Some information here is misleading, isn't it?
496.13 is the GR for Back 4 Blood, and some DLSS updates for other titles

The GR Driver for Battlefield 2042 is the one who released a few hours ago, 496.76

@chinmun I seen one person say on twitter they got a boost and they are using a 1080. I would say that you should get some better performance on your rig and its worth the try

@chinmun , I found this link for supported directx12 supported graphics cards - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/technologies/dx12/ - its at the bottom of the page. now if rolling the driver back would help for other cards im not to sure I only know that people with 30 series and 20 series have seen a fps boost and stability boost
