Okay, now, FINALLY I've come out with version 2. I honestly don't know how much more I'm going to work on this map. This has taken me a full year to get to this point (then again, I was working on it on and off). There's probably some crap wrong with it, for example, a random metal car on the street that I'm not going to remove until a later version. The train doesn't move yet. Half of the trainstation is missing. Yeah, I know. This stuff shouldn't be too much of a problem as the whole train thingy is in the background of the map, and you shouldn't notice it too much. But whatever, at least you guys have a huge area to show off your parkour skills on rooftops, and be like Faith from Mirror's Edge! ^_^ Sorry about the really long wait, I wanted to make sure it was playable enough. This map has given me a bit of hell when I was working on it, so I hope you all enjoy it! Oh, yeah, you should use a parkour swep when using this map. I'd recommend the "S.M.A.R.T.: Smooth Parkour Movement" mod by ShadowSaints, or the "Climb Swep 2" mod by Jon a scone. Or just use both. I do. It works pretty well.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that there are like 3 Mirror's Edge bags in here. You can like, collect them or whatever. Also the little building thingy that you see on the building you spawn on, if you go through there and come out the other side you can lose your weapons if you want to do Roleplay or whatever.

Here's some background info.:
So, yeah, um, I was pretty inspired by Mirror's Edge when making this. I actually made the first version of this before the E3 reveal of Mirror's Edge last year. It was completed in 3 days. To be honest I was just craving the new Mirror's Edge so bad that I just HAD to have a parkour style map the way I wanted it. That's why the original version wasn't that detailed. I just wanted to get it done. I had uploaded it to the workshop so me and my friends (who were also somewhat fans of Mirror's Edge) could play together on it. After a while, I decided, "hey, this map has potential to actually be GOOD. Maybe I should TRY." and try I did. And then it became this.

So yeah. HAVE FUN! I hope it's good or whatever. Have fun jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and exploring the streets below, and other random things!

I do not own the rights to any of the "custom textures" used. I got them from the Internet and added them to make the whole "Post-Apocalyptic-And-Depressing-Half-Life-2-Textures" not as annoying. Whoever owns the rights to these textures is the owner, and I DO NOT OWN THEM. If you created/ported the textures, please contact me.

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! There is a music track called "Flight - Ambience" by Solar Fields that is supposed to play in the background. When you join the game, it will not play. You have to hold down Q, the go to utilities, then "clean up everything" in the admin options. This will cause the music to play. I don't know why it's glitched like this, but yeah.

I think I should mention that the Mirror's Edge textures that are used in this are directly from Mirror's Edge and were distributed by someone on Garry's Mod's download page a LONG time ago for free use in map making.

made a lot of structural changes to the map, deleted and rearranged a lot, probably going to upload a "version 2" of this map to the workshop instead of updating this map due to how much of the map has been redone completely. "Version 2" will probably require Counter Strike: Source. Adding moving cars. Moving train is finished. Working on 3D skybox.
