[LFS] PlanetSide2 Vanu Scythe

The Scythe is a one man air superiority fighter in use exclusively by the Vanu Sovereignty. Vanu technology allows the Scythe to be a more stable aircraft when hovering and decelerating.

Constructed using Vanu technology, the Scythe features particularly unusual handling compared to its contemporaries. The fighter is more comfortable moving through the air, featuring the best airbrakes of any fighter, being less affected by gravity while hovering, and drifting considerably less when pitching aggressively, all allowing the Scythe to maneuver through hostile terrain better than its contemporaries.




I found interest in making LFS addons, i wanted to do something new yet simple. I was able to find PlanetSide 2 sounds and models online, so i decided to go on from there. I wanted to make one of the vehicles yet most of them had moving parts, the Vanu Scythe was the only air vehicle without moving parts, so i decided to make it with LFS.

The Scythe is armed with a Saron Laser Cannon as its primary, a low fire rate yet powerful gun. Its secondary is 2 Coyote Missile Pods. These fire guided missiles and are great for taking out air targets.

Controls are the same as any other LFS aircraft and requires LFS of course
