Root Fanfaction: Fury of the Feast

Description
Update notes:
Sluggish was a bad idea. Also light buffs all round.



Once prospering civilization, their pride and obsession with meat has lead to a civil war and eventual downfall. Its remnants have organized and now march under one, torn flag, but they are little more than a starving beast. They scour the land seeking to sate their hunger for flesh and no one is off the menu, not even their brethren. The Harvest has begun and the Feast will soon follow.

Inspired by the strategy game of Tooth and tail charge into the woodland with an army of starving men and women, hungry for their next meal...

This faction is still a bit of a WIP.
there will be bad spelling, formatting, wording and more but I did my best to make this an emulation of the Gameplay of Tooth and tail, so I hope you enjoy!
Please forgive the placeholder or poorly made assets. I will be making improvements over time.

Tooth and tail is made by Pocket Watch games and all of the good art taken from the TNT files and drawn by Jerome Jacinto

Oh my goodness those are some fantastic questions! And thank you so much for commenting I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier.

The question about rule is a something I hadn't thought about but It should be a rule that I'll add when I update this before long.

Yes you can be completely removed from the map. I wasn't sure if i wanted to write up something to reverse that as it never came up in any of my test games.

Yes I was intending for placing a fortification to be an action sooo you can place as many as you can afford.

And lastly i wasn't thinking the flagbearer would be a warrior. They're a pawn and sure I think it makes sense that the volunteers can move the flagbearer.

Very cool fan faction I played 2 dummy games and had fun with it. I have some clarifying questions tho. It doesn't say that you have to rule a clearing to build, only have enough meat and it be in a clearing with or next to a Gristmill, is this intentional or do you have to rule the clearing in addition to that? Does the building next to a Gristmill clause apply to Gristmills themselves, making it possible to be completely removed from the map if you have no Gristmills? Does placing a fortification cost an action, or have a hard limit to how many you can place a turn, (i.e could I place 3 bullet hives down in one clearing if I had the meat for it)? Does the flag bearer count as a warrior, and can you use The Volunteers' ability to move the flag bearer to the nearest Gristmill?
