White Hat reputation is optionally gained reputation within the game acquired through partaking in morally correct decisions at different paths.


Unlocks:
- LEVEL 3: Mask - Reduce trace amount by 90%
- LEVEL 5: 0ni0n - Decrease trace by 2
- LEVEL 6: Band1t - Indicates how many adjacent node connections contain ICE
- LEVEL 8: Cloak v3.3 - 80% chance on 8 slices to block trace
- LEVEL 10: Predictive processor Mark I - +1 Slices

Grey Hat reputation is gained throughout the game as it is required to progress the story. It is additionally unlocked through remaining neutral in certain situations.


Unlocks:
- LEVEL 10: Codeforge x59 - +2 Static length of trace bar
- LEVEL 12: Predictive processor Mark I - +1 Slices
- LEVEL 16: Memcap 7 - +1 Deck slots
- LEVEL 19: AEC Stealthchip - 25% chance to avoid trace
- LEVEL 24: Sniffer 2.0 - Multiple instance sniffer
- LEVEL 30: CX Variability Engine - +15% Breaker crit chance
- LEVEL 35: Codeforge-Link x74 BETA - 2x Trace bar length

Black Hat reputation is gained through committing morally evil acts and acts that align with personal gain.


Unlocks:
- LEVEL 4: Ech0 - 2 Hits deals 15 damage on 8 slices, activates on move, not turn
- LEVEL 7: Copy - Teleports to adjacent node without triggering ICE, teleport back on removal
- LEVEL 10: The Trashman - +1 moves, +1 trace
- LEVEL 13: Breaker State Memory Pool - +20% Breaker damage
- LEVEL 16: Paint Brush - +50% crit chance on 8 slices for breaker programs
- LEVEL 20: Tanaka CM Tracelink 152.4 - Breaker damage increases based on trace %
