This guide will teach you how to be a goblin in Insurgency Sandstorm for PvP modes

First thing you'll need to know is that this guide will NOT prolong your survival in the battlefield, you will DIE a lot; so make peace with whatever make-believe god(s) and accept the sweet release of death, over and over again.

And now, Goblin time.

1. Speed: No body armor and no primary weapons as they are too big for your scrawny goblin body. The only thing you will need to equip is a pistol with a pistol holster plus an optional attachments if you have the credits, a heavy carrier (for looting), along with starting with 3 types of grenades of your choice (that means no launchers or detonation based explosives, they will slow you down and will get you killed sooner). The types of grenades will decide on the type of goblin you will become. Stacking fire types will make you a fire goblin, a 3 smokes will make you a smoke goblin and so on and so forth. You can also mix the types of grenades for any situations that will put you in the category of a tactical goblin.

2. Knowledge: Fun fact; A smart goblin will die a 15 seconds later than a dumb one. Knowing your surroundings amongst the chaos will be very useful on how you would encounter enemy players whether to flank and harass, flee and loot, or face them and die. Your goal as a goblin is to wear down the enemy with surprise encounters that will make them rethink about voting that map you don't like at all. Make them fear you.

3. Looting: The stuff you carry must be treated like your personal economy where whatever you spend will contribute to the downfall of your well equipped enemies. You must start with 3 hand thrown nonlethal/lethal grenades, once those are dispensed or 2/3 of your arsenal has been spent, you may use a launcher or detonation explosives you may find on the ground on the enemy. As for your starting pistol of your choice, once all ammo has been spent, you may also use the weapons you find until you die.

4. Cosmetics: The look of your goblin character is a must, feel free to go into customization and click on random a few times until you find the goblin look that you wouldn't want to stare at in fear of becoming blind; the uglier, the better. For insurgents: bright colors such as cyan, lime green, and/ or yellow to name a few; are essential to becoming a deranged goblin, bonus to picking a different bright color in each body category as camouflage in this game doesn't matter when it has a death cam in it. For Security: the same applies; mix different gear that will make you stand out among your non goblin war pigs.

5. Goblin Talk: If you are going to communicate to your teammates or enemies, either in voice chat or text, put on heavy British cockney accent/speech. The heavier, the b'etter.

6. If you encounter another goblin as yourself you must assert dominance whether they are on your team or not. Only the strongest and smartest will die later.
