Radiance is a very small expansion mod that tweaks the daytime Empress of Light into a significantly stronger post-moonlord boss, rather than pre/post-Golem.
When fought during the day, her attacks have flashy effects and altered behaviors that more effectively compete with endgame movement options. She also drops a very powerful reward that empowers her prismatic items.

Some warnings:

• This mod contains flashing lights. Some effects can be turned down, but not all.
  
• This mod is not intended to be used with other modded difficulties. Nighttime tends to work fine, but daytime will usually either be broken or impossible, so you'll have to disable them when fighting her.
  
• This mod is not balanced on Classic mode at all. You are expected to have and use expert mode movement items. This might change in the future.

--Changes--

• Empress of Light's attacks are significantly more difficult during the day, and even more so in Master mode.
  
• Empress of Light's attacks no longer do absurd damage and can be dodged. Instead, multiple consecutive hits are always lethal, regardless of health or defense, and dodging instead only partially reduces damage taken.
  
• Empress of Light has a defense against teleportation items during the day. The Rod of Harmony functions like the Rod of Discord, and while the player has the Chaos State debuff all life lost is stolen, extending the fight length.
  
• The Terraprisma is available during the night as a no-hit reward. This can be disabled in the config. It is still available during the day as a secondary drop.

--Items--

• Crystal Bell
  • Given to the player after summoning the Empress of Light during the day a few times. Can be used to infinitely summon her, but only during daytime.
• Radiant Charm
  • Drops from the Empress of Light during the day. Dramatically increases the strength of her prismatic weapons and wings.
• Radiant Dye
  • Cosmetic item. Drops as a no-hit reward during the day. Good luck!

--Help--

If you're struggling (you probably will) you should make sure you have:

• Celestial Starboard + Soaring Insignia -- These are virtually mandatory.
  
• A slime mount to fall faster -- Not mandatory but very helpful.
