Foreword
Getting the achievements in this game is rather easy, as long as you're progressing through the game. Aside from one, all the achievements are unmissable story achievements. Thus, this guide explains when and where in the game these achievements unlock.

This guide does not in any way aim to be a puzzle guide or walkthrough. The game also has an excellent hint system which lets you visually see where to go next if you're stuck on where to go in the game, or lets you get hints for puzzles you're trying to solve. If you can't wrap your head around a puzzle, you play mainly for the story, or just want to get the achievements as quickly as possible, you can choose to have the puzzle solved for you after going through the available hints.

The game took me about 13 hours to complete, playing it normally, and also dealing with a lot of crashes: Make sure to save often!

The achievements are listed below in the order they appear on the achievements list page for the game. This is also most likely the sequence in which you will unlock them. (I believe there might be a couple that could be unlocked out of sequence.)
Tutorial Completed

Hall of Trials Completed
Hall of Trials Completed
You have successfully completed the Hall of Trials!

This achievement unlocks when you finish the three trials to officially become a student of the Academy. This happens just before getting to the upper part of the Academy, and requires having found your staff so you can open the three stone doors.

The first stone door/trial is at the top of the central staircase(behind the gate in the entry hall), and immediately to the right. Can be hard to spot.

The second stone door/trial is high up outside, between the two study halls bearing large plaques inlaid into the floor that speak of the history of the Academy. It's the long, balcony like area where Zak will cower on one end until you reach the other, and will the come running after you. Enter the door, then cross the bridge/walkway and you'll find the door.

The third stone door/trial is found by moving to the right from the first stone door, and climbing the stairs almost all the way to the top where the three golems/guardians/minotaur looking, speaking statues are.

You have patience beyond belief!
You have patience beyond belief!
(Secret)

This achievement unlocks at the end of the credits after completing the game. Just let the credits roll through, and that's it.

NOTE: Some people experience crashing during the credits. If this happens to you, go to your Steam Library, right click on Keepsake, and choose Properties. In the properties window, go to Languages and choose Francais (French), and close the window. Once the new files have been downloaded, run the game in WINDOWED mode(not fullscreen). Play through the ending again, and now it shouldn't crash during the credits, letting you get that final achievement!
Final Words
Those are all the achievements. It's basically just the final one that you might miss, and only if you skip the credits somehow. (See the note about the game crashing under that achievement.)

The game has quite a few bugs that can cause crashes, so saving often is a good idea. Luckily it doesn't take long to restart and reload the game.

Even if most of the achievements are unmissable, some achievement hunters might want to know this before starting a game. And for people having trouble getting that last achievement, there's now a guide that explains a way to fix this. So this guide is mainly for these people.

I hope you enjoyed this guide!

Thank you. I always like a little heads up on the type of achievements in a game even if I don't go through the list line by line.:diao:
